BUHURT WHO? Isabel Hoffmann 🇦🇺

Starting this little side quest with @izsy_rs from Tyr’s Valkyries.

Outrance, psychological warfare, meowing and apparently crying over competitive board games. Honestly, enough said.

Have a swipe and meet Isabel beyond the armour 👀

Who else are we being nosy about?

🫶 Newcastle Tournament of Friendship 🫶

Tyrs Valkyries, Tyrs Warriors and Tyrs Raiders all went down to Newcastle this weekend and competed at ‘The Tournament of Friendship’ hosted by @teamravenguard and had a blast!!!

Tyrs Valkyries had a packed Sunday with both 3’s and 5’s on the same day. But all the girls worked hard and came home with GOLD!!! in both 3’s and 5’s!!!! 🥇🥇

Tyrs warriors fought over 2 long days and came out on top of their pool undefeated, and after the finals fights the boys got SILVER!!! For the men’s 5’s🥈

Our Tyrs Radiers also fought incredibly hard in their pool and had some tough fights and some amazing wins!

And the BIGGEST shoutout of all is to our squires! That come down and help support our fighters throughout the whole tournament with water, lollies, fans, photos, armour failures and even banana bread! Without our squires we would be a bunch of dehydrated broken fighters so all the thanks in the world to our squires!

Expect more photos to come

Invitationals guests from Australia 🇦🇺
Tyrs Valkyries and Tyr’s Warriors 🟣

Travelling across the world to join us on the battlefield in Romania, they represented Australia in men’s polearm, women’s sword & buckler, women’s longsword and women’s 5v5! ⚔️

Huge respect for the dedication, passion, and effort it takes to make such a journey and stand among fighters from around the world. Thank you for bringing your energy and fighting spirit to the lists — we hope to see you again soon! 💜

What an amazing opportunity Valkyries have had this weekend! With Valkyries first debut internationally we couldn’t ask for a better weekend. With the girls competing in 5v5 as well as 12v12 w/ @ironwolves_women @people.eaters. As well as Rachel in the longsword category.
Valkyries also got to be apart of history with the first time Romania has had a female combat tournament as well as the first Tournament to have higher female fighters than male!!!
We have learnt a lot and have a lot of knowledge and experience we can take back to Australia!
It has been a beautiful opportunity and we couldn’t ask for more, till next time Europe 🫶
