Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 will revive you I promise you!
I’ve been grinding for the better part of the year working 6 days a week while simultaneously working on the new album.
We came to DR to celebrate @rayzor.ramon birthday 🎂 and get a much needed recharge.
One night after walking out of a club a man started rapping at me. I looked at him confused because I recognized those lyrics. Tell me how the dude was rapping my own song at me!!! He told me he was a fan of my music and that felt fucking amazing. I’ve never had anyone recognize me in my little island before and that shit gave me energy ⚡️
It was also my first time driving in Dominican Republic. Which if you ever been you know it’s chaotic. I did good until I crashed the rental into a Porsche in a fucking parking lot!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 anyway turns out the guy owned a hotel on a beach and he invited us over for dinner and drinks. We’re friends now.
My cousin @kaovanny also had a release party in Puerto Plata for her new album “Agua” go support that 🫡
It’s almost impossible to convince me to take a vacation but I’m glad I did.

The Close Your Eyes release party was truly special. Thank you to everyone who came out to support! We definitely going to do more of these 🙂‍↕️

Hosted by @coltivarecreatives at @chicaandthedon we celebrated my new song with @tonythames_ with specialty cocktails. A custom pin the tail on the donkey game (We pinning the hands over the eyes. Cause the song is called close your eyes. Get it??) great music curated by the @blkidtwins and I unveiled a million stream plaque for the song (I’m manifesting till it comes true or I die) and we ended the night with a drunk performance 😎
Stay tuned because the album listening party is next up

You know there’s no trying. Only doing. Everything we want is already real. You just gotta close your eyes and believe. We celebrated the release of my new song ft. My brudda @tonythames_ but this wasn’t just a release party. This was manifestation on 💯 I believe in our vision so clearly that I had a plaque commissioned to celebrate 1 million streams. My intentions are clear and the universe just gotta catch up. Y’heard??? Close Your Eyes out now! by @tyrxneny
