Two days in Zion with Nancy ❤️🏔️

Our second time visiting this incredible place, but this trip felt completely different. This time we got out there and really experienced the park, including taking on Angels Landing, hiking through The Narrows, and getting a little more connected with some of the most beautiful parts of Zion.

A couple days, a few sore legs, and a lifetime of memories made together. Already looking forward to the next adventure. ❤️🥾🏜️ taken in Zion Canyon National Park by @tysonmyers

There’s been a lot on my mind these past few months since losing my dad.

Losing him so suddenly was incredibly hard, especially being in a different state and not being able to be there. I’m thankful that we had been talking more often before he passed. I know he was proud of the man I became, and that means a lot to me.

I’m truly grateful for all the love and support I’ve received from the people around me. It’s meant more than I can put into words.
Getting to see my dad laid to rest with his Marine brothers and sisters was something I’ll never forget. It brought me a lot of pride seeing the respect and honor he received.
They say once a Marine, always a Marine.

Rest easy, Dad. I hope we meet again someday.

Until then, happy Father’s Day. taken in Miramar National Cemetery by @tysonmyers

Today, I want to honor my dad, Larry. His passing was sudden, and finding the words has been harder than I expected. Our relationship wasn’t always perfect, but he was a good man who lived a life of purpose. He served 18 years in the Marine Corps, gave what he had, and carried more than most people ever knew.
We don’t get to choose our parents, but we can choose to love, forgive, and remember the best parts of who they were. I’m choosing that today.
It’s been difficult for me to share this and even harder to ask for help, but my family has created a GoFundMe to help cover some of Larry’s burial expenses. Any support whether through sharing, donating, or simply sending love means more than I can say.

Some places are beautiful in photos… but some have to be felt in person.

We spent the day driving through Death Valley, chasing the desert bloom and stopping wherever the landscape pulled us in. Fields of yellow flowers stretching across the desert, layered mountains in the distance, and that endless quiet you only find out here.
It’s wild to see so much life in one of the driest places on earth. Pictures barely scratch the surface — this was one of those moments you just have to stand in and take in for yourself.
Desert blooms, big skies, and miles of exploring. 🌞🌼

We took a quick trip out to one of our favorite places to camp to finish the Cassidy Arc trail hike we atemptted last year. This time we brought more water and was able to park closer to the trailhead instead of hiking The Grand Wash to get there. The drive through Capitol Reef takes you past towering cliffs, vibrant rock formations, and ancient petroglyphs, all set against the backdrop of the desert.

We ended up staying at Ceder Mesa campground for the night before heading to Goblin Valley to take in the otherworldly hoodoo formations and get a quick round of Disc golf at one of the most unique courses I’ve ever played.

The deserts of southern Utah are nothing short of mesmerizing—each one unique, with landscapes that feel like they belong to another planet.
We loved our visit but left feeling there is still so much more to explore out here.

They say the best things in life are free. Being outside on my bike and spending time with people I love are two of my favorites. Thankful I was able to do both last weekend.
Hit up your friends and loved ones to plan that trip soon. Life’s too short not to chase the things that make us feel alive. taken in Zion National Park by @tysonmyers

37 has always been my lucky number(it’s my initials upside down)and for my 37th birthday I got to spend some quality time unplugged with a special lady, in a beautiful desert. Since moving to Utah from San Diego, luck has been on my side. I’m grateful for this life and thankful for the people it.

Spring time is always something special here in Utah. As riding season kicks off and things start to thaw out, everything turns green and begins to bloom.

So much has happened in such a short amount of time this year.
I’ve met a lot of awesome people since deciding to call SLC home. It’s been such a wonderful experience, I had no idea how fast this place would grow on me!
It’s always nice to go home though and feel like I never left.
I’m grateful for the memories I’ve created in both places and the people I’ve shared them with. by @tysonmyers
