There is so much to say. I'll start with saying that I thank the Most High and my family for guiding me along the right path, ensuring my head stayed on straight and allowing me to achieve my numerous accomplishments dating up to this moment. I am beyond grateful for having spent four prosperous years in the Southern University Department of Bands. The knowledge I've gained is priceless. The experiences I have are world-shaping. The connections I made are to last me for years to come. Four years....four long, challenging, shapely years in the band, with the wool jacket to prove it.🙌🏾 Anyone who knows my story knows how much it means to me to have won the "Outsanding Percussion" award. I could not have imagined a more perfect way to close out this chapter in my life. Congratulations to my freshman class for finishing the course. It was not easy to keep going, considering how we started. Congratulations to the classes of '21, '22, and '23 for a successful year in the band. I'd like to thank the band staff for believeing in me and endowing me with a second chance.🤝🏾 It puts my mind at ease to know I didn't waste it.🙏🏾 Farewell, Jukebox.
