Lovely day for a peaceful protest yesterday. Edgewood to the Capitol (02.01.26)…it’s about solidarity and helping to get a message across 👏🏽👏🏽 it’s gone too far! Egregious misuse and misdirection of power lately within the confines of this country. @dhsgov…control your ICE…I personally enjoy a protest. I KNOW a lot of people seeing this have never been to a protest, never been attacked for your race or sexuality (that you didn’t choose…fight me), never know what it’s like to have the government against you. To those people, must be nice to have an easy life with minimal uphill battles huh? If it’s for a cause you support, why not march?? If it’s for people you know are affected, why not march?? In honor of the first few episodes of @beastgames airing today on @primevideo, here are a FEW photos from my personal vault. I had never worked so much/hard/fast in my life (well maybe that one summer at tennis camp when I was 14) as I did on this project. That being said, I enjoyed it cause I was on a set, making things happen…I miss that, every damn day. Met some amazing friends crew, and some contestants. So I guess I suck at posting (still)…I have photos and videos for days though…SO so very cherished this time in my career. The opportunity to work on a show like this with these talented crew and cast members will never be forgotten…! Crazy for me to believe we filmed this in Spring 2023, right at the top of allllllll of the industry strikes…so many feelings.Last post specifically for “Clean Slate” Episode 108 “Born Again…Again”. Again, this was my 4th of 4 episodes that I 1st AD’d (8 total episodes in Season I) 😁🙂😊 Post III of III from my personal #bts photos…Though Amazon didn’t renew us for a 2nd season, let’s stay hopeful that another network/platform will revive us. MISS @zackarydrucker…is a phenomenal, caring, soul bearing, full of good energy woman! Beautiful inside and out…and I will always be a forever fan and friend of her…😘🤗 our walks and talks until sunrise will never be forgotten 🔐 This episode was certainly emotional, memorable, hilarious, fun, and sad all at the same time. Hola 👋🏾 time for my weekly “Clean Slate” post. Pt. I of III 🤗 this was my 3rd of 4 episodes. Episode 107 “Mess and Magic” was a pretty big one! Lots to film, small amount of time (but we got it done). I had an amazing time working with @adetroitmendoza…the woman is a genius (she literally edits in her head as she films)!
