A season you didn’t plan for can still introduce you to things your soul needs 🤎✨

Life has thrown some plot twists my way recently, to say the least lol. But a gift within the unexpected has been finding myself surrounded by artists, entrepreneurs, creatives, and people building beautiful things in my city.

I’ve been saying yes to everythanggg 🥹

I recently went to a @nostalgiaandnoise event where @tiarauniquefrancois was creating portraits in real-time. She’s incredible! Watching her capture expression and personality so quickly??? My goodness.

Life lately 🤎 Friendship, the arts, and animals been making my heart smile hardddd. I am loved more than I’ll ever know, man. We all are.

Sidenote: why @banabear14 heard me say I wasn’t eating one night, so she came to my door with some shrimp pasta shortly after 😭 Blessed is an understatement.

A few years back, my brother from another mother @big_daddy_toni had me watching wrestling or UFC (go sports 😂) to help me understand this concept called ✨supreme belief✨

It essentially means, regardless of what’s stacked against you, how can you continue to believe in YOU? Your ability to learn from anything, to bounce back, to recover and flip the experience on its head…

Thee best kickoff to ushering in a new decade. My 30th birthday is tomorrow (August 4), but I was able to celebrate a little early with some legends this past weekend 🥹🤌🏾
