Took horrible pics so here’s a reel😎

These have been some of the most challenging years of my life, let alone year, like trying to catch a dropped stitch when knitting🧶 . Yet, they have also been some the best. Throughout this journey, I’ve had the opportunity of meeting creatively amazing people while experiencing things I never even imagined doing (like burning my finger while soldering). The collection is based on “the in-between” of growing up Mexican-American, in NYC and the practice of “adorning.” By adorning myself and my hair, I was able to bridge both cultures together. The garments consist of silhouettes that reference traditional Mexican garments, NYC sub-cultures, and youth.
