💬 "I am proud to be a two-time UAB graduate! I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UAB in 2018 and began my career as a registered nurse in the UAB Highlands Emergency Department in 2019. In 2022, I was honored to become an Assistant Nurse Manager. While working full-time an Assistant Nurse Manager, I began UAB's BSN-to-DNP Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2023, and I am excited to graduate this August. During my final year, I was deeply honored to receive the 2026 Outstanding Graduate Student in Family Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Award from the UAB School of Nursing. After graduation and successfully passing my board certification exam, I will begin my next chapter as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the UAB Emergency Departments.

"Outside of work and school, I am a wife and a proud mom to two beautiful children who keep life full of joy and adventure. My favorite way to spend quality time is exploring local coffee shops with my husband over a great cup of coffee. UAB has shaped every stage of my journey by providing incredible opportunities to grow as both a clinician and a leader. 💬 "I started working as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator in the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office at UAB in 2020. Since beginning this career path, I have found a passion in helping patients navigate through clinical trials. Helping clinical trials through the different stages, progresses cancer research to find new treatments for our amazing patients.
