The UFO Video Tom DeLonge Didn’t Want You to Ignore | Full Episode out now on UAP Files Podcast (YouTube & Spotify)

For more than a decade, this UFO video has quietly remained one of the internet’s most intriguing mysteries.

Uploaded in 2013 by an anonymous YouTube account called **ResearchForTruth12**, the footage appeared online with little fanfare before the creator—known only as **”Bob”**—vanished completely after posting just two videos.

Years later, something unexpected happened.

**Tom DeLonge** shared the footage with millions of followers, publicly stating that he believed it was genuine and encouraging viewers to pay close attention to one very unusual detail... the sound.

That raises an obvious question:

**What did Tom DeLonge see in this footage that convinced him it deserved to be shared? Or WHO convinced him it was real?**

In this investigation, I explore:

👽 Who was the mysterious uploader “Bob”?
📹 Why did the ResearchForTruth12 YouTube channel disappear after only two uploads?
💰 Why was the channel never monetised, despite receiving huge exposure?
🛸 Tom DeLonge’s connection to senior intelligence officials, the Podesta emails and Major General Neil McCasland.
🔍 A full breakdown of Bob’s original account of what happened that night.
🎥 Frame-by-frame analysis of the footage.
✨ Enhanced and upscaled imagery revealing the clearest view of the object I’ve been able to produce.

This isn’t just another UFO reaction video.

It’s a deep dive into one of the most overlooked cases on the internet

Second angle / additional Tehran footage

A second piece of footage has emerged apparently showing the same unidentified illuminated object over Tehran. This version was posted on Instagram by @imaginary4482, with the caption referring to an unknown object over Tehran and speculating whether it could be a UFO or some form of surveillance craft.

Unlike the original Azadegan Highway footage, this clip appears to show the object from a different viewpoint and at considerably greater apparent distance. A small, bright object can be seen against the dark sky, again displaying what appears to be more than one colour of light. From this recording alone, however, its shape, altitude, size and speed cannot be established.

The significance is that this does not appear to be the only recording circulating from Tehran. Multiple videos and viewing angles are now being shared online, although there is not yet enough information to establish that every clip shows the same object. Contemporary reporting likewise notes that several recordings have appeared, but that neither their precise locations nor the object’s identity have been independently verified.

So far, Iranian aviation or military authorities have not publicly identified the object. Explanations being discussed include an aircraft, individual or formation of drones, and an LED-equipped kite, but none has been demonstrated from the available footage.

Tehran UFO — 20 September 2026 [Analysis at the bottom]

New footage circulating online appears to show a strange formation of lights over Tehran, Iran, on the evening of 20 September 2026.

The original post appears to come from Ali Sedaghati (@AliiiiiSeda), who states that he filmed the object at approximately 7:30 PM from Tehran’s Azadegan Highway. He described it as being close to the clouds, displaying unusual lights and apparently hovering without any audible sound. Other footage reportedly emerged from different parts of Tehran that evening according to “Cybernews”

The video appears to show a curved or boomerang-like arrangement of bright lights against the night sky.

- UAP Files Assessment: “similarities to the Hudson Valley UFFO case from the 1980s. Impressive lighting and realistic cloud/blur indicating realistic photography characteristics. However this is frustratingly short and considering its profound implications, it makes zero sense to cut it so short whilst still low, highly visible and bright. Unable to obtain raw to run AI detection methods and the source is not responding, has only two posts on his X account in 2 years and claims to have filmed the footage from within Iran, though his X account positions him in Europe. Make of that what you will”.

🚨DECLASSIFIED Department of War UAP footage | DOW-UAP-D108, described the UAP as “six small spherical objects grouped together, and characterized their behavior as “seem[ingly] agile,” and “frequently changing direction.” The reporter estimated the speed of the UAP to have been 480 miles per hour.

Video Description:
00:00-00:04: No content.
00:05-00:10: Several areas of contrast transit the sensor field-of-view, entering from the top of the frame and exiting from the bottom.
00:11-00:47: The sensor pans to track the areas of contrast, keeping them generally within the center of the frame.
00:48-1:00: The sensor changes its level of magnification. No content.

🚨 Skywarcher’s Jake Barber claims he recovered UFOs for the US Government.

So rather than debate the claim, I followed the money.

Government helicopter contracts. His companies. Aircraft registrations. Patents. A private defence testing range in Texas. DoD money. And a helicopter trail that connects some surprisingly interesting dots.

The paper trail behind Jake Barber is far more interesting than I expected.
