God has carried me through harder days, and He will carry me through this one too.🍀

I may not understand every closed door or redirected plan, but I trust that His plan is better than mine, it’s certainly not by my power or by mught, but by His Spirit.

So I choose gratitude over worry, faith over fear, and trust over control because I believe God is fighting battles I may never know about. 💚

Another day of serving, learning and listening.🍀

Today at Holy Cross Cathedral, I had the opportunity to sit with the Archdiocesan Council, listen to different perspectives and gain a better understanding of the work we are called to do.

It’s moments like this that makes you sit and remind yourself that this work is bigger than you.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve God and His people through CYON, still learning, still growing, still serving. 🙏🏽💚

Lately, I’ve found myself reminiscing at my journey in CYON and realising how much this family has taught me.🍀

I came in as a member, but along the way, God gave me opportunities to serve, learn, make mistakes, grow and understand what it really means to give your time and energy to something bigger than yourself.

I’ve also realised that one should enjoy being a member of CYON, the friendships, the meetings, the laughter, the service, the challenges and even the stressful moments, someday, we’ll look back and realise how much these moments meant to us.

For me, leadership has slowly become less about being in front and more about being willing to serve, sacrifice and answer when God calls.

SIDE NOTE: “Christian leadership is not about being served, but about being willing to serve, sacrifice and spend yourself for God and His people.”

Still learning. Still serving. Still grateful to God.💚

Through Christ.✝️

Truth is, you can’t please everyone, people will misunderstand you, think it’s not enough or make you out to be the villain, but if your heart is pure before God, and you’re serving with integrity, keep going, keep doing what is right, even when it goes unnoticed.

PROVERBS 4:23 “Guard your heart with all diligence, because out of it flow the issues of life”

GALATIANS 1:10 “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

So focus on building a better relationship with God, do what is right before Him, give your best and let Him handle the out come.😇✝️ by @ubahkenechi

Growth isn’t in the easy days, It’s in the moments you look up to God instead of caving in and giving up.🤍🍀

Life won’t always move the way you expect, Some seasons will feel slow, some will feel heavy, some will break you heart, and some test everything you think you know, but every time you choose to lift your eyes instead of sink into the weight, something shifts in you and you start to see strength settling in, you start to notice peace showing up in small ways.🤍🍀
Keep looking up😇
Keep holding on🤲🏽
God builds you in the moments you think you’re breaking.🤍✝️
