Last week we lost a legend.

Kai was truly like no other. His curious, adventurous, thoughtful, kind, and positive spirit touched anyone who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him.

Kai had an enormous impact on this club and the greater UBC community. He immediately became involved with Ski and Board when he started at UBC only a couple of years ago. He served on the team in numerous capacities throughout his degree until capping it off as our club president last year, where he served with an immense passion and dedication for building the SnB community.

A true yes man, Kai seized every moment and lived life to the absolute fullest. He will be an inspiration of life for everyone who had the pleasure and honour of crossing paths with him and more. His legacy will live on through the countless people that Kai so effortlessly left a most lasting impression on. We will all miss him so much.

💫 The Calendar’s Annual UNDIE RUN was a success!! Hundreds of UBC students were so overwhelmed by their own generosity - donating the clothes off their back for a good cause - that they just had to run around afterwards. 🩲

🎓 Still have a little more energy to get out?? Tickets for our end-of-term Commencement party are out now!! Link in bio! 🎉

The Undie Run FUNDRAISER

This past March, Kai Smart, a long-time Ski & Board club executive and recent president, passed away. His loss is deeply felt throughout the UBC community.

This year, all donated clothes from The Undie Run (this Wednesday, April 15th) will be gathered for a Fill-A-Bag fundraiser.

In collaboration with @getthriftyubc, please join us on Saturday, April 18t, at 12 PM in the AMS Lower Atrium to Fill-A-Bag for $5. We will be accepting cash or e-transfer. If you would like to make an additional donation, Kai’s GoFundMe is available in our bio.

Please bring any additional clothing to UNDIE RUN as any donation is greatly appreciated!

All proceeds will be going to Kai’s family to honour his legacy🫶🏼

THE UNDIE RUN. 🩲 APRIL 15TH 9PM

For the third time since a 5 year hiatus…

Here’s the RUNdown:
- Show up at 9pm to the knoll (hill) next to the nest wearing clothes you would like to donate to a special cause this year (PLEASE feel free to bring extra if you want!) 😁

- Strip down (please leave your underwear on) and place all the clothes you want to donate in the pile 🙈

- Feel free to wear accessories, costumes or any other cool shit (if you are uncomfortable being in just your underwear, wear a swimsuit, or anything else that makes you comfortable! everyone is welcome :)) 👩‍🎤

- GET TF READY BECAUSE WE LEAVE AT 9:30PM SHARP. 🫡

- Follow the leaders around campus and let’s get wet and wild 😎

PSA‼️ - keep in mind there will be cameras capturing the moment! SAY CHEEKS 🤭. If you don’t want to be photographed, please inform a media member and we’ll ensure to do our best to accommodate.

Whistler Freeride Mock Comp!!!

Come rip some laps, hang with da homies, try new skills, and see what the comp will be like!!

Plan:
Mock comp will start at 12:00
Rip it up for awhile
Tailgate BBQ in daylot after🍻🌭

This is for everyone!! Even if you don't want to to the comp we would love to see the support, bring your friends and come watch and enjoy some beers and dogs after!
