Flashback to an unforgettable experience at the JCIN national conference in October 2024 in Ogun State, Nigeria.

I was excited to celebrate as the JCIN DELSU Collegiate Chapter won the award for Most Outstanding New Local Organization! [My LO :) ].

The event was a blend of inspiration and fun, filled with amazing people who uplifted one another.

I am grateful for the connections made and the memories created. Here’s to continuing our journey of growth and making a difference together!

From September 3rd to 6th, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the 21st Annual Scientific Conference and AGM of the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria at Bingham University, Nasarawa state Nigeria, themed "The Landscape of Neurogenic Diseases." This event brought together leading researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the field, fostering an environment rich in knowledge exchange and collaboration.

I was honoured to present my research on "The Effect of Silymarin on Kidney Oxidative Stress Markers in Mice Exposed to Alcohol, Precipitating Seizures Induced by Pentylenetetrazol."This study aims to explore the potential protective effects of silymarin against oxidative stress in the kidneys, particularly in the context of alcohol exposure and seizure activity.

The conference featured insightful discussions and presentations on various aspects of neurogenic diseases, highlighting the latest advancements and challenges in the field. Engaging with fellow researchers and professionals has not only broadened my perspective but also inspired me to continue pursuing innovative solutions for neurogenic conditions.

A special thank you to the Delsu JOINT Canada-Israel Neuroscience and Biopsychiatric Laboratory for sponsoring my travel to this significant event and to the organizers for such a well-structured event and to all the participants who shared their valuable insights .

I am inspired and motivated to continue my work in this vital field and look forward to future collaborations and discoveries!

The campaign's #BeatPlasticPollution-inspired theme for World Environment Day in 2023 is "Ecosystem Restoration". It serves as a reminder that we must take action to prevent plastic from gradually polluting our oceans, soil, and forests and creating devastation.

The only person who can stop this pollution from wiping us out is YOU. Let's start by being ecologically conscious and refraining from dropping plastic rubbish on the ground.
The next generation needs a clean environment, therefore let's fight for a brighter future for us and a great start for them. We can accomplish this by picking a plastic today and refusing to throw out another one tomorrow. by @ucheefestus

International Women's Day is a global celebration that recognizes the accomplishments of women who champion economic, cultural, political, and social causes around the world. International Women's Day began in 1908 when 15,000 women marched through New York City demanding voting rights, better pay, and shorter work hours. International Women's Day has been at the forefront of reminding people how far we've come and how much work remains as each decade finds a new way to advocate for women's rights around the world.

I grew up in a female-dominated household. My mother had four daughters, and my father did not take chances with our gender.
My father taught his daughters about money and instilled in us an entrepreneurial mindset; this is the foundation of my life and career.

No matter how much we females have accomplished in this life, we all have a reason that drives our mindset in the direction that it is.

We all have different perspectives on how women should view money and various rights, but today, March 8, we celebrate the female gender's uniqueness.

Today, honor all the females in your life by telling them about their unique characteristics and putting a smile on their faces because A MAN WAS LONELY AND A FEMALE WAS ADDED TO HIM FOR COMPANIONSHIP.

My childhood dream was to become a mental health advocate, fortunately, I am now an advocate for mental health. My passion for helping others made me realize I wanted to do something for people, something or somewhere that talks about self-development, self helps everything that talks about humans and their behaviour.

The little time I searched, I could not find so I decided to create something.

YOUmeUS podcast is a self-development podcast where we talk about those little things that make up our attitude or pattern in life, things we pay little or no attention to but are the root cause of how we handle daily life situations. Our pain and our joy will all be shared. It is a place where you have a voice, all you need to do is send me a direct message and you will be able to speak.
Always remember ONE VOICE EQUALS A THOUSAND lives never underestimate your voice.
