❗️Help us demand home fees for Palestinian students in Gaza!❗️Links in bio for open letter and email templates to UCL! UCL is among many British universities who charge students in Gaza international tuition fees while offering partial scholarships which cover only a fraction of the cost. This is keeping many students stuck in the genocide!! As members of the University of Sanctuary Programme they should know better. Ukrainian students are regularly offered home fees to support their studies. We demand the same for students in Gaza!! We now URGENTLY need your support!! First, Donate to our fundraisers for Reham, Amjad, and Mais. Then, use our email template to send an email demanding home fees to their departments. Thirdly, sign our open letter to UCL administration! Thank you for your support and free Palestine❤️‍🔥🇵🇸 by @uclactionforpalestine
🎆 🇵🇸 DISRUPTION OF UCL ILLUMINATED EXPOSES COMPLICITY ‼️‼️ On Wednesday 11th, students stood firmly together to disrupt and protest against UCL complicity in genocide, and display our own message during the light show. We will not be silent as UCL tries to use its anniversary to conceal that it is supporting and legitimising arms companies which sell weapons to Israel used to murder Palestinians. We made our voices heard to show solidarity with Palestine and to expose UCL's crimes to the public. UCL has no right to celebrate when it has blood money on its hands. We demand UCL cut its ties with BAE and Airbus, and end its complicity. Free Palestine! by @uclactionforpalestine
‼️ SAY NO TO THE CRANFIELD MERGER ‼️ KCL has just confirmed that the merger will go ahead in August 2027, absorbing a failing defence hub, who are £8.2m in debt. There was NO consultation with staff or students and now our institution is merging with one actively testing the very weapons used against innocent Palestinians, collaborating with companies like BAE systems. We demand a voice. Say NO to the Cranfield merger! Say NO to genocide! SIGN THE PETITION NOW! Link in bio 🚨 by @uclactionforpalestine

Qesser Zuhrah, an ex-hunger striker and one of the youngest activists to be imprisoned in the UK - she was on remand for 15 months and granted bail in February. Today Qesser took to the stand to tell her story and remind the court room it is very Elbit who is on trial and it's the courage of the defendants that is on display. We will provide a detailed update about her time on the stand as it concludes. For now keep your eyes peeled and stand firmly in solidarity with the actionists who risked their liberties to relieve the oppressed. by @uclactionforpalestine
In 1964, the first year of Nelson Mandela’s imprisonment on Robben Island, he was elected honours president of the @studentsunionucl at UCL. He spent a total of 18 year in prison on the Island over his role in the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa. Following his release he famously stood in solidarity with the Palestinian liberation struggle with the words “we know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians”. Today, we are selling the complete “My Robben Island” series of lithographs by Nelson Mandela which has been donated to our art sale supporting UCL students currently in Gaza. You can purchase the full series for £10,000 through the art sale link in our bio or individual lithographs for £2,000. The full signed set includes “The Window”, “The Cell”, “The Church”, “The Lighthouse”, “The Harbour”, and “The Motivation” behind the entire collection. We are urgently looking for buyers for this work as we only have a few days left to support Amjad, who received a partial scholarship from UCL for his masters in Sustainable Education, with fully covering his tuition fees and living expenses. “My Robben Island, I have attempted to colour the island sketches in ways that reflect the positive light in which I view it. This is what I would like to share with people around the world and, hopefully, also project the idea that even the most fantastic dreams can be achieved if we are prepared to endure life’s challenges.” ~ Nelson Mandela by @uclactionforpalestine
