Join our team!!! Here is an easy breakdown on how to join Snowteam!🏂⛷️
1. Fill out our interest form! 📋You can find this in the link in our Instagram bio. This provides a form to give us your contact information so we can contact you with the upcoming steps for our recruitment events.
2. Come to our Recruitment Events! 🎉There are two events - Janss Info Session on Wednesday, Sep 30, and our Barbecue on Friday, October 2nd. These are necessary to attend to get to know the team and strengthen your chances to become a Snowteam member!
3. Apply! 👩‍💻You can find the Application Form to apply to UCLA Snowteam in our linktree, which is linked in our Instagram bio. Please fill that out before 11:59 on Sunday, October 4th! Good luck!🎿🏔️ by @uclasnowteam

It changes a little bit every year, but the general trend is about 10 trips a year. We have 1 Fall quarter trip, about 5-6 weekend trips in Winter quarter, and 3 in Spring quarter! Last trip of the year is always our bikini trip in spring!

Absolutely!! Some of the best times on the team are right in Westwood! Some events include: BBQs, skiing down Janss steps, snowteam tailgates for football games, Malibu Dunes, ski/board movie premieres, and so many fun apartment get-togethers!🙌

We have members at every level — from growing up racing since they could walk to having only a couple seasons of experience under their belt!
No matter what level you join the team on, you will 100% improve!!

You are not required to race at all! Most members like to at least try a couple of races (if not all) because they can be super fun and a great way to assess your skills! Don’t worry if you have never raced before, everyone just wants you to have a great time and try your best!

Hell yea you can! Many of the upperclassmen have cars and we are all divided up into carpools before the trip to make sure that everyone has a ride to the mountain/cabin! The cars can be tight at times, so it always helps to have more drivers — but not having a car certainly is not a reason to not join the team! by @uclasnowteam

Hii everyone!! My name is Maxine Kelly and I am a senior at UCLA studying Architecture. I am from Malibu and grew up skiing Mammoth Mountain! My favorite aspect of UCLA Snowteam is getting to spend weekends with a huge group of friends out on the mountain. Outside of Snowteam I love surfing, painting, and hiking! by @uclasnowteam

Whatup, my name is Zola. I am from the Bay Area and grew up skiing palisades! I am a math of computation major. My favorite Snowteam memory is skiing down after bikini run and the millgates. Hi everyone! My name’s Layla and I am so stoked to be treasurer this year! I’m originally from Boulder, Colorado and grew up skiing the rockies. I’m (unfortunately) a rising senior studying aerospace engineering. The second I heard about Snowteam after getting to UCLA I knew I needed to join and it has been the best decision! My favorite snowteam memories include GNAR trips and side quests on the way up to Mammoth. I can’t wait to meet everyone and have another amazing season! taken in UCLA by @uclasnowteam

Yo what’s up my name’s Cameron and I’m hella excited to be the ski captain this year. I grew up in Orinda (East Bay) and split my time between there and beautiful Tahoe City. I’ve been a ski racer since I was quite young and continued to race all the way through high school at Palisades and now at UCLA for snowteam (my dream of being a college athlete kinda came true)! My favorite memory so far has been going to nationals in Lake Placid and enjoying the crazy awards ceremony they put on. I’m currently a junior majoring in biochemistry with a minor in math. When I’m not on the slopes you might see me in the gym, playing tennis, stringing tennis rackets or playing chess. Super hyped for a great year! taken in UCLA by @uclasnowteam

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, on no… it’s @yoitsmeKai !!! 🦅🦅You’re probably getting dizzy watching him spin over your head! 🪐🚀Introducing this years Snowboard Captain, Kai Shidler!

Yooooo! What up my name is Kai, and I’m hella hyped to be Snowteam’s snowboard captain for the second year in a row. I started snowboarding when I was 6, and I’m originally from SF, where I grew up competing on the Northstar team for 7 years in slope, pipe, and rail jam. I also lived around Europe for a while, then went to high school in NYC. I’m currently a senior at UCLA studying economics. Coming to UCLA, I was stoked to find a group of friends who are passionate about snowsports and, most importantly, hella goofy. My favorite memories from Snowteam are competing nationally, playing hockey in the cabin, and terrorizing other schools at China Peak. I can’t wait to meet y’all and snowboard with my friends! 🫶🙂‍↔️🇫🇷 taken in UCLA by @uclasnowteam
