❤️🖤 Ready to see what UCM Cheer is all about? Join us for our Recruitment Clinic & Game Day Experience on Saturday, November 28!

Open to high school freshmen through seniors, current UCM students, and prospective transfer students, this is your chance to meet our team, learn more about our collegiate sideline program, and experience game day with the Mules!

📍 Clinic: UCM Student Recreation and Wellness Center
⏰ 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
💲 $40 includes the clinic, a UCM Cheer T-shirt, and a basketball game ticket!

Then head to the Hughes Center to watch warm-ups starting at 2:00 p.m. and cheer on the Mules as they take on Tabor at 3:00 p.m! Watch our team in action and ask questions about what it’s like to cheer at UCM.

❤️🖤 UCM Cheer Athlete of the Week: Gabby! 🖤❤️

Gabby embodies everything we hope for in a collegiate sideline cheerleader. From the way she carries herself to the kindness she shows others, she represents UCM with pride, poise, and integrity. Her character shines just as brightly as her spirit on the sidelines!

She is kind, considerate, caring, and always willing to step into whatever position her team needs. Gabby is everybody’s cheerleader, supporting those around her, making people feel welcome, and putting others before herself. She celebrates others’ successes and brings encouragement to the people around her. She gives her best effort every time while making her education a priority and holding herself to a high standard.

Community events are some of her favorite opportunities, and that is where she truly shines! Her warm conversations, genuine care for others, and classy, confident presence make her a wonderful representative of our program. She understands that representing UCM extends far beyond game day, and she makes people feel valued wherever she goes.

Gabby, you are the sweetest soul, and we are so proud of the teammate, student, and person you are. Your willingness to help, your dedication, and the care you show others mean so much to this team. Thank you for sharing your heart with our team and our community! ❤️🖤 by @ucmcheer

❤️🖤 ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: LEVI! 🖤❤️

Levi may be one of the quieter members of our team, but he is a quiet force in this program. He leads through his actions: showing up, putting in the work, trying new skills, and giving his best wherever the team needs him. He is always looking for ways to improve, and he helps the people around him grow right along with him.

Levi has a way of noticing when someone is having a hard day. He’ll offer a smile, a kind word, or just the encouragement they need to keep going. Then, when it’s time to hit the sidelines, that quiet teammate brings the volume! His voice and energy help lift the whole team.

He works hard in and out of the classroom, serves our country, and still shows up ready to give this team 100 percent. We admire his commitment, but what makes Levi especially special is his heart. His family means so much to him, and he brings that same care to his teammates. Once you’re on a team with Levi, he makes you feel like part of his family too.

Levi, thank you for being someone we can count on, someone who lifts others up, and an all-around great person. We’re lucky to have you.

📣 Athlete of the Week 📣

This week, we are so proud to recognize Lily!

Lily is one of those truly special people who makes every room, practice, and sideline brighter simply by being herself. She is kind, caring, sweet, and has one of the most genuine hearts you will ever find. She always has a smile to share, works incredibly hard, and brings a warmth that makes everyone around her feel loved and valued.

When it comes to cheer, Lily is fearless. She is always willing to try a new pyramid, take on a challenge, and do whatever her team needs. On the sidelines, she is absolutely stunning. Her sign work is sharp, her energy is contagious, and you will never catch her simply standing around. She is constantly moving, engaging the crowd, supporting her teammates, and giving her very best.

Lily deeply cherishes her friends and family, and once you become her friend, you quickly become part of her family too. She loves wholeheartedly, and that love is returned by her teammates, friends, coworkers, coaches, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Lily is the kind of role model every mom hopes her little girl will look up to. She shows others that you can be strong and fearless while still being gentle, compassionate, and full of heart. Her presence matters. Her kindness matters. Her hard work matters. Most importantly, Lily matters more than she may ever fully realize.

Lily, we hope you always remember how incredibly special, loved, and valued you are. UCM Cheer is better because you are part of it, and we are so lucky to call you ours!

❤️🖤 ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 🖤❤️

This week’s Athlete of the Week is senior Emily Lucas!

Emily joined our team in the middle of last year, and she has truly blown us away from day one. She quickly became a tremendous asset to our program and has continued to show us just how special she is.

Emily is incredible on the sideline. She brings great energy, does an amazing job using signs, and gives everything she has to engage the crowd and represent UCM Cheer well. She is also extremely versatile and can step in as a main base, side base, or back spot. No matter where we need her, she is willing to jump in, try something new, and work as hard as she can to make it successful.

Emily is a true go-getter. She is hardworking, dependable, selfless, and always willing to do whatever is needed to help her team. She never backs away from a challenge and consistently puts the needs of the team first.

Even more impressive than Emily’s athletic ability is her heart. She is kind, caring, giving, and a wonderful friend. She supports the people around her, encourages her teammates, and makes our program better simply by being part of it.

Emily, we are incredibly grateful that you found your way to our team. You are an outstanding athlete, an even better teammate, and such a special part of our UCM Cheer family. We are so proud to recognize you as our Athlete of the Week!

❤️🖤 ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: NEVA COFFER 🖤❤️

This week, we are celebrating one of our incredible captains, Neva Coffer!

Neva is truly something special. She is hardworking, dependable, and always one of the first people to volunteer whenever something needs to be done. She will meet you anytime, anywhere to work on cheerleading—and if you are struggling academically, she will be right there to help with that too.

Neva has the kindest heart and an old soul, but she is also fierce in every part of her life. She faces challenges head-on, works tirelessly for the things and people she believes in, and never does anything halfway. She loves fiercely, leads fiercely, and protects her people fiercely. Once you are her friend, you are her friend for life. She will encourage you, stand beside you, fight for you, and take care of you without ever thinking twice. Her strength is undeniable, but it is the way she uses that strength to lift up everyone around her that makes her so special.

And on the sidelines, Neva is absolute FIRE! 🔥 She cheers nonstop, is always one of the first to start a cheer, and knows exactly how to bring the energy. She knows how to have fun while also keeping everyone organized, focused, and ready for what comes next. That balance is what makes her such an outstanding captain.

Neva is UCM Cheer through and through. She is the perfect combination of heart, soul, fierceness, leadership, and sideline energy—and we are incredibly lucky to have her leading and loving this team!
