Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting the MSC Computing & Engineering Placement Fair at UEL Docklands Campus.

The event brought together students and employers, creating a fantastic space to explore exciting placement opportunities, connect with industry professionals, and learn more about the career pathways available to our students. With a great turnout and plenty of valuable conversations.

This Monday, we celebrated the CSC Celebrating Success Event at Stratford Campus.

The event brought together students, alumni, employers, and industry professionals for an inspiring afternoon of career conversations, networking, and celebrating student success.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to hear about alumni career journeys, gain valuable insights into what employers look for, and build confidence as they take their next steps towards their future careers.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate how far our students have come.

On Thursday, we welcomed over 100 students to our LinkedIn Insight Talk, led by renowned LinkedIn coach and trainer, Fatima Khan.

During the session, Fatima showed our students that you do not need to be an industry expert to begin building an online presence. Students gained practical, actionable strategies to optimize their profiles, stand out to employers, and land their dream roles.

We are incredibly proud of the energy our students brought to the talk. They left with the confidence and tools to build their personal brands, and we look forward to watching them document their professional journeys both on and beyond campus.

Did you know that here at the Career Zone, our mentoring team works with 150 mentors across the globe who generously volunteer their time to support our students throughout their career journeys?

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of celebrating the incredible impact our mentors have made. We hosted a special thank you event in Hackney, bringing mentors together to network, reflect on the past year, and connect with one another.

It was a meaningful and rewarding opportunity to recognise the dedication, encouragement, and expertise our mentors share with our students. During the event, we reflected on the difference they have made by reading some of the wonderful feedback students have shared about the guidance, confidence, and support they received from their mentors.

To all of our mentors thank you for your generosity, commitment, and the lasting impact you continue to make. We couldn't do it without you.
