Introducing the 2026–2027 Black Student Union Executive Board.

Different shades. Different stories. One community. This year, we’re celebrating the full spectrum of Blackness IN LIVING COLOR 🎨. As we step into a new season, we’re celebrating everything that makes our community vibrant — the people who shape it, the culture that connects us, and the voices that make BSU what it is.

See you in every shade.

Community is first, always. Let’s unite and honor the beautiful life of Nolan Wells as we uncover the truth and deep corruption of the U.S justice system.

Members of The Gator Chapter of the NAACP and The Black Student Union here at the University of Florida are ready to lead the discussion on a long overdue topic of injustice against Black Youth.

It’s important we make space and continue to say the names of the innocent Black Youth who have been taken from this world.

Monday 10/12, 6-8pm.. let’s honor Nolan and bring this long over due discussion to life.🖤 #uf #Nolan #uf26 ⚖️ taken in University of Florida by @uf_bsu

A TIMELESS week deserves a royal ending. 👑

From following our Royal Court candidates through their Day in the Life series to an evening of talent and laughter at Open Mic, a late night gathering for our Midnight Breakfast Fundraiser, and a little friendly competition at Black Card Revoked, this BSU Homecoming Week has given us plenty of moments worth holding onto.

Now, it’s time for one final move. ♟️ Join us tomorrow at Gator Walk as we crown the 2026 BSU Homecoming Royal Court, celebrating the individuals who will take their place in this year’s legacy. The board is set, the pieces have moved, yet one question remains:

When heavy is the head that wears the crown, who will rise to the throne & take their rightful place as royalty? 👀👑 by @uf_bsu

It’s already been one month since we opened the doors to The Gallery… 🖼️✨

For one night, every performance, every voice, every organization, and every person in the room became a piece of something bigger. Together, we created a Gallery that celebrated the creativity, history, talent, and excellence that make Black UF what it is.

Thank you to every artist who took the stage, every organization that showed up, every person who worked behind the scenes, and everyone who came to experience The Gallery with us.

The exhibition may be over, but the art lives on.

Until the next showing…
See you in 2027 for the Black Community Awards. 🌟
