Meet the College of Health and Human Performance (HHP) 💼🖖 HHP offers various bachelors, masters and certificate degrees in: 🔶 Applied Physiology & Kinesiology (APK) 🔷 Health Education & Behavior 🔶 Sport Management 🔷 Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management Since the college was founded in 1946, HHP degrees have offered the chance to make a positive difference in people’s lives. UF HHP is devoted to improving the human condition through research and comprehension by empowering students with the proper tools, knowledge, and confidence. Their curriculum and research strives to treat addiction, improve the quality of life for those affected by neurological, cardiovascular and muscular disorders, and helps span cultural divides through tourism and sport.  UF HHP is home to four research centers that use state-of-the-art technology to collect data. Today, HHP researchers are focusing on incorportating artificial intelligence (AI) into both curriculum and research. What if the whole point of your next trip was to come home feeling better? More travelers are seeking trips built around rest, recovery and wellbeing, and that is changing what they expect from hotels, resorts and destinations. As people become more intentional about their mental and physical wellbeing in everyday life, those expectations are following them when they travel. For the hospitality industry, that means continuing to rethink what a great guest experience looks like. These are the kinds of changes students in our Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management program are preparing to navigate. Wellness may be the trend, but understanding what guests value and building experiences around those expectations is at the heart of the field.
