HELLLLLOOOO!!! My name is Derek Varney and I am so excited to be one of the newest Digital Dawgs!!

I’m a rising third year from Augusta, Georgia double majoring in Management in @terrycollege & Public Relations in @ugagrady ! I’m also pursuing a music business certificate through @ugambus

I like to stay busy and am very passionate about UGA, so outside of the classroom I am involved in @ugahomecoming where I get to help plan and celebrate one of UGA’s oldest traditions 🥳. I will also be serving as a Peer Leader for @ugafirstyearforum though @ugasga . I was in Forum my freshman year and it gave me some of my best friends (including @uga.vanessa & @uga.annadarley & @uga.papa ), so I’m so excited to give back to such a great program.

I’m also a member of the professional fraternity, @akpsi_uga and absolutely love the brotherhood and opportunities that it provides. Last but not least I get to serve as an intern for @ugaadmissions , where I get to welcome and help prospective bulldogs in starting their college journey.

If you’re seeing this, make sure to drop a follow. Rumor has it that some fire content is coming your way. Can’t wait for everything that’s to come and GO DAWGS!! taken in University of Georgia by @uga.derek

Spend the day with me on my first day of class for junior year! I can’t believe it, like I’m so old. Even though the day was scorching, it was nice to be on a full campus again! So excited for what the year has in store. #uga #fdoc #diml #universitylife #college by @uga.derek
