Feeling Fantastic!!!

Hey Bulldogs! My name is Julia Randall, and I’m a rising third-year Accounting major from Roswell, Georgia and if you’re a Fantastic Four…get ready to score!! ❤️🐶

UGA has always been more than just a school to me, it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From growing up hearing stories, to now getting to live it myself, this place has been shaped by the people who poured into me along the way, especially my family, who gave me such a deep love for this university.

I am beyond excited to represent @universityofga and @ugaorientation and to have the opportunity to meet each and every one of you! Getting to be part of your very first moments here is something so truly special, and I cannot wait to help you feel seen, supported, and excited for everything ahead.

To the incoming class, your journey is just getting started, and I am so grateful I get to be a part of it. You belong here, and I cannot wait to walk alongside you.

Move-in day will be one of the most exciting and emotional days of the year. But, it will also be a little hectic. Elevators will be busy, lines may be long, and things might not go exactly as planned, but when that day comes, remember to give each other a little extra grace and a lot of extra patience.

Parents, this may be the last time you’ll see your student for a while. Take the extra picture. Give the extra hug. Walk across campus together one more time. The boxes will eventually get unpacked, but the memories you make together that day will last far longer.

Students, your family won’t just be helping you move into a residence hall, they’ll be helping you begin one of the biggest adventures of your life. Before the busyness of classes, new friendships, and college routines takes over, take a moment to appreciate the people who helped get you there.
