October is ADHD awareness month; Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity, and it can look different for everyone. ADHD is often misunderstood, and individuals with the condition may experience challenges with organization, focus, and daily tasks. However, everyone’s experience is unique, and ADHD should never be reduced to stereotypes or misconceptions.

We hope to encourage our community to learn more about ADHD and help create supportive environments where everyone feels understood. by @uga.friendsofmsf

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Gift of Life Swab Drive yesterday! ❤️🖤

We had an incredible turnout at Tate Plaza, and it was great seeing so many students come together to support such an important cause. In collaboration with MSF, Access Life America at UGA helped students join the Gift of Life Marrow Registry, giving them the opportunity to become potential blood stem cell and bone marrow donors for patients battling blood cancers and other disorders.

We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by, get swabbed, and show their support. We also enjoyed connecting with everyone and handing out merch, drinks, and other goodies throughout the event!

A special thank you to @neurogum for contributing to our giveaways, MSF for partnering with us, and everyone who helped make this event possible. We look forward to continuing to make a difference together! ❤️

Come join the Mentor-Mentee program’s first orientation on Monday, October 19th from 5-6pm in MLC 247! In addition to the event credit earned, there will be a fun bingo game involving getting to know your fellow Mentors and Mentees.
