WIND BETWEEN THE TREES 02/02

6 months ago, I couldn’t even stand up without being out of breath. I couldn’t speak a full sentence without losing my voice. I felt so far from myself and from the thing I loved the most; Singing and making music.

I am so beyond grateful for this second chance. I’m even more grateful to be able to share this with you.

stay safe and warm. i’ll see you soon. :)

Almost 2 months ago, I was shot through my chest and I had no idea how I’d make it back to the life I was living.

I had to move out of my apartment, distance myself from people I loved but weren’t good for me, stop working, learn to walk, talk, and breathe again, and find trust in my surroundings.

Today? I have love. I have air in my lungs. I have friends and family that only want the best from me. I have a roof over my head. I have trust in myself and God.

Tomorrow? I go back to work and soon I’ll see all my little friends in the classroom. I couldn’t be more excited.

I am so blessed.

Hug your loved ones and please be safe.
