making Black HERstory!!!

in Dec. 2025 I got to walk the stage and officially become 2 degrees hotter and honor my achievement of earning a Masters of Teaching in Elementary Education.

growing up in rural appalachia—I didn’t have Black teachers and it greatly skewed my experience of the world. So, I am honored to join the 9% of Black women who hold masters degrees and hope to use this privilege to be a safe space for marginalized children.

My life is a testament to the power of community. I have had to rely on mutual aid more than I’ve been comfortable with, but I am always humbled to see how much active love I am surrounded by. If the universe continues to feed the birds and the bees then I must believe a path will always be carved out for me. I’m thankful to the stars for bringing me this far 💫

Hey y'all!!

Let's help stabilize Yugie!!

We're here to help raise funds for Yugie, a black queer organizer and teacher, who needs some help stabilizing after a difficult summer move. This involves catching up on bills, and generally stabilizing.

Yugie is an absolutely amazing and important member of the community. They regularly help raise funds and do item drives for those in need and organize events to do so, and this time, it's our turn to help her!!

The goal for this is $2,000.

If you have some funds to spare and would like to help out, please consider donating!!
