On April 18, The Underground Records shop is mobilised. We’re taking over Palace Nova Cinema in a world first.

From 12 pm, the Palace Nova foyer is no longer a foyer. It's occupied territory — crates brimming with official RSD titles, the largest collection of film and gaming soundtracks in South Australia, and a massive war chest of metal, hardcore, alternative, electro, and hip-hop.

Crackle & Pop are in the trenches alongside us. Black Match Candles burning with the smell of victory.

You'll dig, you'll score, you'll displayyour spoils of war. It’s all the good oil minus the inflation.

No record store has ever occupied a cinema. Not here. Not anywhere. Until now. Should we have asked? Probably. (But it's better to ask for forgiveness, right?)

At 6:30 PM, end it on a high note.
Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense blows up on the Exi-Max in full A24 4K glory. Lauded as the greatest concert film of all time, this is a must. Every ticket holder will go into the draw to win 1 of 3 Record Store Day packs.

One day only.
You’re not invited.
You’re enlisted.

More info to come. Stay (down) tuned. by @ugr666

Wow. Where do we begin? 100+ days after having our page removed for an incorrect copyright claim... we are back from the dead.

And we will be lugging our heavy wax across two big weekends in a row. Look forward to seeing everyone. by @ugr666

CEREMONIAL BURIAL – LAST RITES
FINAL RITE · ACT III

Saturday Session · Live and Loud at Underground Records HQ
Saturday February 21 · From 11am

We’ve reached the final week.

Underground Records HQ calls the faithful together one last time for the closing rite of CEREMONIAL BURIAL: LAST RITES — a farewell session of volume, ritual atmosphere, and underground noise as we send off the shop the only way we know how: loud.

After two weeks of distortion, feedback, and community, this is our final descent. One last afternoon inside the walls that carried so much heavy music, chaos, and camaraderie.

Let’s raise hell one last time.
