I Never Asked For Fame! - official trailer

Absurd, yet real. Frustrating, self-destructive fame. Rage at the decline of art. Finally! The one and only (?) true story about the one and only true hero. The documentary. About and featuring UH!-BATMAN. Josef Hader, David Scheid, Marco Pogo, Voodoo Jürgens, Spike Slawson, Prof. Dr. Reinhard Haller. All this and much more. Art! Satire! Punk! Told through images. In perfect chaos. The film of the year 2026. And 2027. UH! (Austria/Liechtenstein 2026 | Directed by Virgil Berlin-Baxter)

📢 SUPPORT ADDED: UH! BATMAN JOINS SPIKE AND THE GIMME GIMMES IN ZURICH

📅 @spikeandthegimmegimmes • (US) • Sun 01 11 2026 • @dynamo_zuerich • Zürich
with support from @uh_batman

Born in 1943 exactly on the Austrian-Liechtenstein border, UH!-Batman started making raw and primitive music back in the 1950s with his first combo from Schaan, Liechtenstein, called “UH!-Batman and the Shame of Schaan” — also known simply as “Schaande”. Long before punk had a name, they were already creating loud, wild and chaotic sounds somewhere between rock’n’roll, garage-trash and teenage rebellion.

For decades UH!-Batman refused to play live. Instead, he travelled the world, disappeared for years, and became some kind of underground myth in his hometown. His legendary first single “Who the fuck is Superman?!” stayed number one in the local charts for an unbelievable 27 years.

After years of avoiding stages, UH!-Batman finally played his very first live show in 2006 together with his buddy Robin at the Poolbar Festival in Feldkirch, Austria. From 2006 to 2012 the two toured regularly, sometimes joined by the “Prisoner-Combo” as backing band.

Between 2014 and 2017 UH!-Batman performed with various line-ups featuring Garagekid, Apeman, or both together.

Since 2018 he has been backed by “the mighty antiheroes” – enjoy the show!

Recovering, recharging and getting back to 200% unbreakable in Italia.

Soaking up the sea, the sun, the beautiful landscapes and way too much delicious food… while working on some new songs in between.

𝐔𝐇!-𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 - "𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈'𝐦 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞!"

When I contacted @bachelorrecords yesterday to ask for authorization to upload this album to the channel, I had to confess something rather embarrassing... Despite finding out from the Austrian label that @uh_batman has been around for fucking 20 years, I had absolutely no fucking idea who UH!-Batman was. And their answer? “Exactly my thoughts often... Who is this?... What is he doing? Totally crazy dude!”
Two decades of showmanship, debauchery and around 1000 live shows... and UH!-Batman finally has a proper full-length album! After a truckload of singles, a 10", a documentary and who knows how much UH!-Whisky, “Tonight I'm Looking For Trouble!” is here:
Side A brings six of his usual doses of primitive garage trashy rock'n'roll and superhero nonsense, while Side B has a bunch of friends and fellow troublemakers destroying some UH!-Batman classics... including Spike Slawson, Xray Xeroxx, Thee Garagekid, Rock and Roll Adventure Kids, Atomic Suplex, Dirt Bag and Salamirecorder.
As the label itself says: “Brilliant songwriting cannot be demolished by bad interpretations!”
Killer stuff inside, with a fucking awesome wrapper: artwork by the brilliant Austrian comic artist Michael Hacker – The Haecksler. PUNK IS BAT! 🦇💥

What a record release party!

Thank you to everyone who came out, celebrated and danced with us.

A huge thank you to the Rock’n’Roll Adventure Kids for your incredible show and for all the wonderful time we got to spend together. Having you back here was really special. I’m so happy we got to share these days and evenings, and I’m already looking forward to the next time. ❤️🦇

And I’m really sorry to Haifischbar @sonicdojo and to Stromboli Hall that I couldn’t make it to these two shows. We’ll definitely make it up to you!

Stay UH!
