FINAL: Arkansas 22 Houston 12

Our season ends today, but the standard keeps rising.

In our first year back in Division II, this team returned Houston Lacrosse to the playoffs and gave this program something real to build on.

Thank you to our seniors, alumni, families, and everyone who believed in us. #GoCoogs taken in Z-Plex Texas Sports Village by @uhcougarlax

Our third Hard Hat Award of the offseason goes to senior attacker Angelo DeLeon! Angelo has played a crucial role in the Coogs’ offense for the past three seasons, and looks to put up lethal numbers from X this year. As he looks to lead this offense to a championship, Gelo has been putting in the work on and off the field, showing what it means to lead by example. Attaboy @a.deleon6

The Hard Hat Award is given at the end of each week to the player who represents what we want our program to be about at practice.

It’s not necessarily the player who scores the most goals or makes the flashiest plays. It goes to the guy who shows up ready to work, competes every rep, does the dirty work, communicates, is a great teammate, and makes everyone around him better. taken in University of Houston by @uhcougarlax

Our second Hard Hat Award of the offseason goes to junior midfielder Luke Hatley! Since joining us last spring, Luke has played a crucial role in making everyone around him get better every practice. His work ethic and love for the game will be a force to be reckoned with on the defensive side of the field this season. Way to ball out! @lukehatleyy lukehatleyy

Our first off-season Hard Hat Player of the Week Award goes to junior defenseman Justin Hughes! The Hard Hat Award is our off-season superlative given at the end of each week to the player who best represents what we want our program to be about at practice.
