Shaky hands

Paranoid of perception pushes panic
Stranger or not? Who knows?
Either way. Hello.
Bundle of auburn scurries away
Leaving behind waves of sand
Crimes confessed under moonlight
Grains pile up, perhaps a silo's worth of silence
Each distinct in their burden
My reflection sifts whispers meant for ears unsensed
Vapors of emptiness waft onto the pond, scumming into unwise thoughts
A practice of patience performed 'til
before Hogmanay arrives
Please feel free to tug at the strings, puppeteer.

First, the confidence and kindness
Accompanied by, the style and beauty
Immediately after, the wit and humor
And now...

A never-ending infatuation
with no reply
I must understand
I must.
But I do. Do I?
I continue my life
Pursuing my curiosities
Gradually overcoming my own obstacles
Blessed beyond belief
Yet I am greedy, even more so
I am ashamed of my greed
So ashamed I hide behind riddles

Incontinent incompetent confidence

puffof smoke
cursing incompfitence
wooden walls brick barricades strictly admonished
stained nails clack scraping minutes past
cluttered room reflecting an onslaught, unstoppable to the mind-
three tenets unwelcome yet welcomed
staring at the moon wishing for a cobra to hatch, smile back, and let fly a
nonvenomous bite akin to a cat's teeth piercing a squirrel's skull
perhaps wrapped around the neck, as I lay in the grass.

delusions ditched disappear displaced due to differing delusions
delusions of dreams together delusions of disappointment
delusions of conversations overheard twisted to fit
sometimes hope sometimes disgust sometimes fear sometimes sadness
sometimes happiness sometimes hate sometimes love
always infatuation
always beauty
always grace

Contradictions

Mama tells me beauty is on the inside and how you look doesn't matter it's how you treat others but she tells me to cut my hair and trim my beard. Dita tells me to not let others get to me and follow my dreams but he worries that our neighbor Barbara will think we're gay when I hug him in our garage. I sit in his lap and tell him I didn't appreciate Aita enough when she was alive. I guess it's never too late to start though. So I stare at the same view and imagine you as a bearded lady. by @uhhmmit

Dilation

The optometrist cautioned my retina has stretched. My foolish explanation would be blinded by beauty. How else can I see your silhouette shining with closed eyes? Every blink a slide projected onto my eyelids. Emotions bleeding through each glance. Is it my imagination? Or is sorrow staring back? by @uhhmmit
