Since 2019, August has consistently been the hardest months to get through. Between my moms’s death anniversary, birthday, and her and Percy’s wedding anniversary, the tail end is suffocating.

I don’t think there are enough words to express or explain how much i miss them both. But art exists, and thanks to @houseofladychappelle, they forever have a physical place on my body.

To Percy, who loved my mother unconditionally, took care of her, and didnt hesitate to show me that same unconditional love.

To Tyler, the dog i unknowingly named, who became my biggest source of comfort for a while.

To my mom, 25 years by your side wasnt nearly enough — theres so much you have, and are going to miss. I love you and i miss you, forever. by @uhmanda.rose
