📍Prague, Czech Republic Take a look at some photos taken by Rowan, one of our current students studying abroad at Anglo-American University, Prague! Rowan has been to locations such as Copenhagen, Riga, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Venice, Rome, Naples, Pompeii and Malta! 💬: "Being able to study and live in Prague has been such an amazing experience and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have been able to do study abroad! Prague is such a beautiful city and I've made so many friends that I will probably keep for life here. As well as that, it's super cheap- and with the Czech Republic being so centrally located in Europe it's super easy to go anywhere you want, and I've definitely taken advantage of that by visiting multiple countries across Europe including the Netherlands, Latvia, Denmark, Italy and Malta. There's also so much to do in and around Prague, with loads of museums and historical sites to visit, and great beer too. For anyone considering studying here I couldn't recommend it highly enough, it's truly an amazing city to live in and it frequently ranks among the best student cities in the world for studying, nightlife and more and it definitely lives up to that reputation!" Take a look at Chris' study abroad trip to Australia! ✈️🌍 "My study abroad placement has been a dream come true and I have been so grateful for the opportunity. Australia has been nothing short of breathtaking. I have been to Cairns to see the Great Barrier Reef. I flew to Darwin to visit the Kakadu National Park in Northern Territory where I saw some crocodiles. I have been to visit Uluru where I got to have a BBQ dinner at sunset and then see the Southern Constellation. I have visited Byron Bay for a camping weekend. Over the Christmas holidays I drove to Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne where I took a trip to the Southern Ocean road before driving back to Gold Coast. I have since flown to Tasmania for a week of driving around the island and just got back from a weekend trip to Perth to see the Pinnacles National Park and Rottnest Island. For those who are considering Australia for their study abroad I cannot recommend it enough. The weather is fantastic on the Gold Coast. The beaches are only a half hour bus ride from where the university is located. Public transport is very cheap and affordable. Bond University is very beautiful, being built around a lake and having water features for added beauty. The mental health teams and academic support units at Bond University are every bit as supportive as Hertfordshire.
