Congratulations to 1438 Iowa (colloquially known as “chud”) for their performance at AMTA Nationals in Washington DC! Putting a case together in just three weeks isn’t easy and it was incredible to watch everyone perform such amazing parts!

We’d like to thank everybody who donated to our GoFundMe or paid for the team’s meals while in DC. We couldn’t have competed without everybody’s help and we cannot stress how much we appreciate everybody who supports us!

We’d also like to thank our incredible secretary Sydney Bellinghausen (@sydne267) for making such a complicated trip run so smoothly. Wrangling 10 college students while traveling across the country is not an easy task, and yet Sydney made sure we knew when and where we had to be at every minute of the trip!

Thank You Lightning Round:
Thank you to our amazing coaches Andrew Elias, Mike Sylvester, and Rachel Winkler for all of the time and effort they offered the program this year!!
Thank you to our incredible captains Katherine Geerdes (@katherinegeerdes) and Vanessa Demarco (@nessadafinesa) for being such exemplars of high-level mock trial!!
Thank you to @catholicu_mocktrial and @gwtrial for hosting such a smoothly run tournament!!

All of that being said: this is not the end of the season yet! We still have some big things coming that everyone will hear about soon!! by @uiowamocktrial

GOFUNDME LINK IN BIO

As you may have heard: IOWA MOCK TRIAL IS HEADING TO WASHINGTON DC! With the National Competition coming up in a few weeks, we’ve started a GoFundMe (link in bio) to help fund this trip. As you can imagine, sending 10 students to DC isn’t cheap, so every donation helps ease the financial burden of competing and allows our competitors to focus on preparing for Nationals!

Thank you to everybody who’s donated to our program this year and who helped make Gold Rush such a success! We’re looking forward for one final weekend against the best of the best! by @uiowamocktrial
