1993. 15 anos. Leitor voraz, amante de fichas técnicas de discos, fã de cinema, punk, pós-punk, MPB, manguebeat, tropicália, grunge e Madonna. Escrevia poemas todos os dias na vontade de ser um bom poeta. Sonhava em fazer um filme chamado "Chaos", onde imitaria brilhantemente o Glauber Rocha em "Idade da Terra" e seria aclamadíssimo. Escrevia novos arranjos para clássicos da música popular em sua cabeça. Gravava tudo da TV em fitas VHS de madrugada e sonhava em ir para grandes shows. Sonhava em ser um artista. Last week I presented the first public activation of my next/ongoing project, DNC, here in Berlin, where I started creating it in practice (taking it out from my head), as part of the residency program Art Intensive Berlin (Spring), by All About Curating. The presentation was on @bardo_projektraum. I am very happy to start understanding what DNC might become in future. A lot of work to do yet. Thank you everybody who was there. The live performance uses hardware-based electronic music combined with analog video synthesis and functions as an open system in which sound is treated as an active force shaping perception and space. Em diálogo com o que venho pesquisando mais diretamente desde 2020, interessado nas invenções musicais/sonoras da cultura preta em diáspora no contexto urbano, sobretudo num recorte norteado por techno/idm/funk-br/samba/terreiro. Durante todo o mês de abril viverei a residência Art Intensive Berlin, organizada pela allaboutcurating, na capital alemã. Minha viagem tem recursos da bolsa de mobilidade formativa internacional concedida pelo @ceara.semfronteiras, realizado pelo Governo do Estado do Ceará, por meio da Secretaria da Cultura do Estado do Ceará (@secultceara), e do Governo Federal, por meio do Ministério da Cultura (@minc), com recursos da Lei Aldir Blanc, através da @mercurioproducao - Gestão, Produção e Ações Colaborativas. Conto também com o apoio institucional do @portoiracemadasartes e com a parceria da @ericasynths, que me enviou um Pérkons HD-01 especialmente para o desenvolvimento desse trabalho. E o peito ainda cheio de alegria por ontem. Fechar um ciclo para iniciar outro, com chavíssima de ouríssimo, nesse palco que tanto amo, cercado de talentos maravilhosos.
