Loaferii (mocasinii tip slip-on, fără șireturi) au apărut la începutul secolului XX.

📌 Pe scurt:
• 1926 – Firma norvegiană Aurland (fondată de Nils Gregoriusson Tveranger) a creat primii pantofi asemănători cu loafers, inspirați din încălțămintea tradițională laponă și mocasinii nativilor americani.
• 1930s – Modelul norvegian a ajuns în SUA, unde a fost preluat de compania G.H. Bass, care a lansat celebrul model Weejuns (de la “Norwegians”).
• Anii ‘50-‘60 – Loafers au devenit foarte populari în rândul studenților americani, mai ales cei numiți penny loafers, pentru că tinerii obișnuiau să pună o monedă în decorațiunea pantofului.

✨ Stopped by Zara in Athens today and checked out their fall collection 🍂 – totally loving the cozy-chic vibes.

I also adore how the store is organized, with comfy armchairs that make you want to just sit and soak in the atmosphere 🛋️☕.
