Another full day of competition for Team Canada at the 2026 ISA World Junior Surfing Championships. 🇨🇦🌊 Day 5 of the 2026 ISA World Junior Surfing Championships saw all five of Canada’s junior boys return to competition in El Salvador.

Tommy Zahalka, Shea Bruhwiler, Tanner Sandvig, Kye Sale and Dusty Bruhwiler took to the water across the U16 and U18 Boys divisions, delivering determined performances while proudly representing Canada on the world stage.

🇨🇦 OPENING CEREMONY | 2026 ISA WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS TEAM CANADA

A day to represent the maple leaf. 🍁

Team Canada officially kicked off the 2026 ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Surf City, El Salvador, joining junior surfers from around the world for the ISA Opening Ceremony. 🇸🇻🌊 @isasurfing @surfcity

Kye Sale proudly carried the Canadian flag as our flag bearer, while Shiloh Page represented Canada in the traditional Sands of the World Ceremony, pouring sand from home alongside representatives from each competing nation.

From the parade of nations to the Sands of the World, an unforgettable start to the week for Team Canada. 🇨🇦
