Hello, my neighbours! I will be hosting a space on Sunday(18th Oct) at 7pm on Twitter (X)
Topic: Step back into the ring:Boys & men embrace the boxers' mindset.

Doing life can be so overwhelming sometimes and most times we have no one to vent to or we might be tired of venting, but bottling things up can be so draining and I know boys & men are fond of doing that which isn't healthy or ideal.

Come on Sunday evening at 7 pm.
You will meet a man who has gone through what you're going through, and he pulled through. Come and be encouraged. Come and draw strength.

This space is going to be a space where you speak, express yourself, and get encouraged, get a word for the week, the rest of the month, and the remaining days of the year.

The BOXERS' mindset is the act of trying after several hits.
It is the act of resting after several hits.
It is the act of receiving pep talk after several hits.
It is the act of restrategizing after several hits.

Where is the logic behind such widely spread idealogy?

Strength is not seen in the show of abuse or display of bad behaviour; that is WEAKNESS.

Because most people who showcase such, do that to cover up for their weakness or because they're lacking in areas that display strength.
Do you get me?

Sometimes, what they display is defense mechanism.

Only a boy who lacks love, affection, and support most often become abusive and badly behaved.

Check out healthy boys and men; most of them were properly loved, cared for, paid attention to, and supported.

So DISCARD that mentality.

Fathers, a lot is tied to you. A lot of people are tied to you; therefore, the moment you get it wrong, it affects every other person connected to you.

Most times, it takes a long while before those connected get it right again.

Fathers, please live right because you're not just living for yourself alone. Stand in the gap and do what you've to do. You'd save a whole lot by doing that.

Boys/men, understand that NO means NO.

If you have this mindset as a boy/man, that when a girl/woman says NO, she means YES, I need you to change that mindset.
It is a wrong mindset that has been pushed out there for so long. DISCARD IT!🚮

Also, as a well-behaved boy or man, call out a badly-behaved boy/man when you come across them.

Point them to the right thing. Educate them on what is right.
Do not turn a blind eyes.

Good men, noble men, you guys can't continue to keep quiet. Speak up!!!!!

Parents, are y'all aware you are your child's first tutor?
What are you teaching them?
What are they learning from you?
What are they copying?

Can we all see our society? It is a result of bad parenting.
Most parents are taking the back seat in the lives of their children.

Hear me out; if you're not ready to put in the work as a parent, stay single. Parenthood involves a lot of work; it's like a full-time job.
