One year ago, on August 7th, I made a trip to Dallas to a convention where I didn’t know anyone, with products I wasn’t sure anyone would be interested in, after years of hesitation. This year, I sold out of all the diffusers and nearly all the candles, and it was our highest grossing day to date. @umuigbounite @uiuconnects has been such a blessing to my small business. @ijeomaaokoli thank you for your warm welcome and for creating a space where small businesses like mine feel seen. You’ve built something wonderful, and I’m grateful to be a small part of it.

Words simply cannot express my gratitude for all the people who came by my booth to try some of the scents, follow us on our socials, or purchase some of our products. It was lovely meeting new faces and a blessing to see some familiar ones. Thank you all so much for your support! Moments like this quiet my self-doubt and encourage me to push forward.

Much love,

Our candle of the day🕯️: Heritage opens with pink pepper and green foliage, then settles into a grounding base of patchouli, clove, and vetiver. A rich, woodsy scent that reminds you of your roots. Link in bio. #housereset #candleoftheday #homedecor #igbomade #ulomastudio by @ulomastudio

Nne m, my mother, people are drawn to your warmth and kindness. Over the years as we have gotten closer, I have gotten the pleasure of seeing you not just as my mother but as a woman with dreams, fears, and aspirations. Thank you for all that you do and even more for who you are. It is truly an honor to have you as my mother.
And to all the mothers who make us feel seen and loved daily we simply cannot thank you enough, but we’ll have to start somewhere. Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @ulomastudio

Trim your wick to ¼” before lighting for a calmer flame, less soot, and safer burn.
