POSTS STORIES REELS

My pre-birthday gift to myself was creating something that embodied everything I love. family, culture, music, food, and the energy that connects us all. I’m beyond blessed to have a space @hellomeadowbk alongside my cousins, @ProphetGoose and #noigseon, to host family, extended family, and friends who feel like family. This was more than just a party. it was a labor of love, a nod to our culture, and an homage to everything we grew up on, through our lens.

Hosting yet again another @imissyoucousin event alongside my sister @patricefloy made it even more special, and as I embrace my new chapter, I know this is only the beginning. I will bet on myself a lot more to continue to curate spaces that bring us together, uplift our Caribbean roots, and celebrate culture. Always.

I made a pact with myself to lean into the possibility of actual doing the things that challenged and inspired me the most. End of last year we and @prophetgoose began the process of securing a venue space(🥂to new partnerships) After a few highs and lows we finally found the space we were looking for. As we all so desperately yearn for outside activities, celebrations with friends/family and spaces to create beautiful projects, we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect time for this new venture.

We are currently in the last phase of renovation and we look forward to opening our doors in the coming weeks to new and old friends, @hellomeadowbk !

Lately, I’ve learned to appreciate life’s little things a little more. The quiet moments. A genuine laugh. A good day. Time with the people I love. Simply having a moment to breathe.

This has been, by far, one of the toughest seasons I’ve ever had to walk through. And if you look at me, you may never know it. I still show up. I still smile. I still handle what needs to be handled. I carry it so gracefully that sometimes people assume everything is always sweet.

But grace doesn’t mean life has been easy.

There have been moments that have stretched me, humbled me, and brought me to my knees. Moments when I didn’t know how I was going to keep everything together. And the truth is, without God’s grace, I wouldn’t have.

So these days, I’m not taking the little things for granted. I’m finding joy where I can, giving myself permission to slow down, and thanking God for carrying me through the things I don’t always talk about.

Sometimes the biggest blessing is simply realizing… I’m still here. I’m still standing. And I can still find something to smile about. 🤍 by @ulovelucy_rn

Happy Birthday, Twin! 14 feels a little different because you’re stepping into high school, new opportunities, and a new chapter in your academic and athletic journey.

This past season came with some challenges, but I hope you always remember that every challenge is preparing you for what’s next. Keep working, keep believing in yourself, and never let one season define your story. Later is greater. 🙏🏽

As you walk into this next chapter, know that you have a family standing firmly behind you, cheering you on every step of the way. We believe in you, we are proud of you, and most importantly, we love you beyond words.

Here’s to 14 @ch3nce_2030 new beginnings, bigger goals, and everything that’s waiting for you on the other side of perseverance. 🏀✨ by @ulovelucy_rn

Chapter 15: Love Wins 💍 15 years of love, growth, laughter, lessons, challenges, memories, and choosing each other through every season. We’ve built a life, raised a family, grown together, and created a story that is uniquely ours.

Cheers to being husband and wife, and to more years still ahead of us. 🥂 #820 #brooklynlovestory by @ulovelucy_rn
