on oct 31st i picked up the keys to our space. last night sammie and i were finally there together as key holders !! on the eve of a full moon ! with mamdani’s win ! it all felt and feels magical and auspicious. i can’t fully put into words the gratitude for everyone who has helped me and us get to this point. i feel so supported and loved. i never dreamed i’d be here at this point in my life but it feels like something clicked into place in my little corner of the world so that sammie and i can build something for as many people as we can. i love you all. thank you thank you thank you to everyone and everything that has gotten me here. come find us doing stuff starting december @theatrium.space 🌀🫀👁️ taken in The Box Factory by @ultraviolet.yoga

Sierra Berkeley Fisher has been teaching yoga for over 7 years in NYC and recently opened their own studio, The Atrium Space, with their bestie ! They incorporate their background as an actor, singer, dancer & aerialist into their classes. Their prime goal as an instructor is to help people feel good in their own bodies ! 🧘

Sierra will be teaching yoga on the beach at Onset Festival Saturday, September 19. Yogis will look outwards - at friends kayaking and canoeing on the lake onsite - and inwards, preparing themselves for a beautiful day of nature, music, aerial & fire performance, and more 🌞🎪

The Atrium is a home for the celebration of all bodies, and movement of all kinds. Whether you’re an instructor with us or a student, you can quite literally feel the love in everything we do, from a ritualized class-setup to the light pouring in through the skylights, to a room full of fellow dancers + movers + shakers, ready to learn and support one another through the process, every step of the way. Community is kind of our thing, if you haven’t noticed yet. And if you weren’t with us from the very beginning, you might not know that everything we do is “for the love of good” (lil’ easter egg moment!) [@for.theloveofgood]

You are so loved, and we love dancing / moving / shaking ass with u! 🌀spin & flair training @theatrium.space🌀

i’m starting to seriously get back into training post op and it feels so good ! i’m still limited on my left so i figured spin training it is ! turns out learning how to flair makes you insanely dizzy. s/o to @delgado_makes for teaching me the technique.

there’s lots of ways to help un-dizzy yourself when you spin, classic is hand in front of your face or slicing it it between your eyes. @_jacob_mckee_ taught me to bounce your heels up & down into the floor. @ny.mph.ie says to spin the other way. i’ve heard smelling lemon or rubbing alc also helps ! you figure out your own. and ginger helps if you get nauseous !

come get dizzy and learn or refine some skills with us this summer 🫶🏼🫶🏼
