Kick syncopation (just 8th notes), on top of jazz ride pattern & ghost notes filling in the triplets 😵‍💫

Mind you, this is an easy one too, but I’m so new to reading music, that I had to re-take for like 20 times (and still ain’t that flawless) for these six measures alone.

Use headphones if possible, the sound is more bearable at least. taken in Shed by @umarirama_

It’s about time to put together some of the @benbrattondrums stuffs that I’ve been studying and shedding.

Some footie from yesterday’s gig, organised by @spectrumrays_gigsmy :

1. 1st song (Shaped Depression (still in writing process): Went quite well, not really warmed up so, there you go.
.
.
.
2. 2nd song (Misery): As you could tell, I screwed a bit on the opening, that I had my own giggle. Fortunately, everything sailed smoothly afterwards.
.
.
.
3. 3rd song (We Are All Same): Not everyday that I got to play some pseudo-jazz mini solo towards the end of a song, made me feel like Marcus Gilmore a little bit (read; I tried).
.
.
.
4. 4th song (My Own Summer by Deftones): The only song that I felt fully warmed up, which was our last song 😂.
.
.
.
Thanks again to @spectrumrays_gigsmy for providing the platform, and giving us @namelessbandmy the opportunity in sharing our arts and sounds to the others. It was indeed an honor.
