Last week, UMBC Mock Trial’s Fadil Adeite competed at @drexelkline_trialteam and @trialteamucla ‘s Trial by Combat for the second time in a row.

With only 24 hours to prepare and the help of his coach, Thomas Azari, and his second chair, Anna Kim, Fadil competed against four of the nation's strongest competitors from @buckeyemocktrial, @uchicagomocktrial, @uclamocktrial, and @princetonmocktrial

Fadil and Anna walked away with the first-ever Trial by Combat civility award, an award given to the most sportsmanlike team, and an award voted on by the other competitors. We’re so proud of Fadil and Anna for this incredible achievement.

Congratulations to Chicago on their win, and thank you to @bu.mto for selecting Fadil as a witness for the final round! by @umbcmocktrial

She poured her all into everything she did. Her directs. Her crosses. Don’t even get us started on those incredible double openings. She made us laugh, maybe us cry (happy tears), she was truly our heart!

We are forever grateful to watch her grow before our eyes. In her tryout she said she “wanted to win”. And a winner she was. An outstanding attorney at the best invitational there is … The Charm City Classic Invitational. Jk she’s an All-American baby!

We love you to the moon and back Alysha. We can’t wait to see the amazing things you will do in the future. Good luck with everything you do and make sure you don’t forget about us queen!
