Proud of our own @princesskatieryan for her recent article in @hometownstarkville magazine on the impact service and hospitality have on a community.

A thank you to all our baristas, roasters, and managers for all you do - you make the world a better place.

And thank you to the local and collective world coffee community - the relationships we build together with you make all the difference.

Live a Story Worth Telling. …You never know what kind of impact you’ll have in someone’s life - including your own.

Coffee Cupping - the practice of observing the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee.

Had some fun coffees to cup from a roaster friend out of Chicago. And, no, that’s not motor oil - it’s coffee…just in funky packaging!

Coffee is a vessel to gather people together and build community… a vessel to build the stories of our life around.

At Umble, we are thankful to have been invited in to the story of @gettymusic and the Sing! Conference this past weekend and share sips and sing songs together while gaining a better perspective on what life’s really about.

Thank you to all who made it happen. Thank you to all the speakers. And a special thank you to all the beautiful people we met living out a beautiful story. 🙏☕️🩵 taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @umblecoffee

Wendell Berry lived a story worth telling. He could have lived anywhere and done anything, but he took his super fancy education and went back to his hometown. He was a prolific writer, involved in his community, and worked on his Kentucky family farm. He was an advocate for living a simple life and loved by many. He will be missed.

May we all find something in life we pursue with as much love as Wendell Barry did. by @umblecoffee

Everyone lives a story worth telling. It’s a blessing when someone opens a window into their life and we get to stick our head in and be a part of things. That’s connection we were made for. taken in Umble Coffee Co by @umblecoffee

What an icon. What a leader. What a loving soul.

Dolly is the definition of Living a Story Worth Telling.

Such a great lady who was loved by many. We will miss her. We also know the good she’s leaving behind that many of us will carry on.

We will always love you. by @umblecoffee

UMBLE X NORTHSHORE - Love Your Neighbor edition

This week, Kenneth and Trey, owners of Umble (Starkville) and Northshore (Jackson) visited each other’s roastery and picked out their favorite drink.

Here’s what they had to say:

Kenneth on Northshore’s (zero proof!) Cold Brew Mai-Tai: “So refreshing. Reminds me of an Arnold Palmer, but with coffee instead of tea. On a good hot summer day, I could guzzle one down in no time!”

Trey on Umble’s honey cinnamon latte: “Absolutely perfect…let’s just leave it at that.”

Trey and Kenneth have gotten to know each other over the years as two of very few specialty coffee roasters across the great state of Mississippi. They both share a (unhealthy) love and fanaticism for great coffee. And they both love calling the hospitality state their home.

Three cheers for coffee craft in the South! ☕️❤️🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 taken in Mississippi by @umblecoffee

Some stories are still being written - whether you’ve just gotten that cup of coffee to start your day or waved goodbye as you send your child off to summer camp. We don’t know the outcome, but we trust that God has a hand in how the stories in our lives play out.

This summer we’re honored to partner with Reformed Youth Ministries for a limited release coffee: Farther Along.

Every bag helps support the work RYM is doing to invest in our children and remind them that no one walks their story alone.

Great coffee has always been about more than what’s in the cup. It’s about the conversations around it, the people it brings together, and the stories worth telling.

If you’d like your morning coffee to make a difference, we’d love for you to grab a bag before it’s gone.

☕ Order Farther Along through the link in Umble’s bio (or at umblecoffee.com).
🤝 Every purchase helps support RYM.
📖 Follow @umblecoffeeco and @rym_ministries to support the stories still being written.
