Tomorrow we air our final episode of the Umbral monthly mix series. For those of you who have hosted or are currently hosting radio shows, you know itโ€™s labour of love. We couldnโ€™t be more grateful for the energy @passage_sound & @gremmah_dubs have given this series over the last 4 years. This Sunday is a lot of things: the summer solstice, Fatherโ€™s Day, and.. our final episode on Sub FM radio ๐Ÿฅบ Itโ€™s a bittersweet ending~ while we love curating shows and providing a platform for Western Canadian artists, the tides are shifting and we need to make space for a new season of growth. Western Canada knows that Calgary is loaded with incredible local talent, & this artist is no exception. We are so so excited to bring up the gem that is @tone.d.403 to round out the stacked support lineup for @von__d. Active in the local underground scene since his teenage years, Tone.D has grown from passionate dance floor regular to dedicated selector and community contributor. Since the projectโ€™s inception in 2017, Tone.D has continued to refine a sound grounded in sound system culture, deep low-end pressure, melodic atmosphere, and carefully chosen rhythms. His sets balance weight and warmth, moving between meditative dubstep, percussive grooves, and uplifting moments that bring the dance floor together. Catch Tone.D this Saturday, June 06 at Club 97.
