Sing to me Muse, of a complicated man..I completed my Odyssey!🏹Sobbing alone in the Mycenaean ruins that are widely considered to be the Palace of the Odysseus. Homer lived and had his school where I am sitting in the photo and people would come from everywhere to hear his stories. The energy here was truly amazing!🏹The holes pictured there are molds used to create Bronze Age weaponry. Imagine the 600 men with their captain and King, forging their armour in preparation for the journey to Troy.🏹Where the throne room would have been, near the rooms of Telemachus, imagine the suitors lying around here being annoying af.🏹The cave is the royal baths where the King, Queen and Prince would have bathed. 🏹The final view showing where Homer stayed and had his office, where he would write his Epics, of which we know of only two, the Iliad and the Odyssey.I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Ithaca, I think this was one of my favourite places I’ve ever been. I understand why Odysseus wanted to go home so badly. I too want to go back again! With my partner ofc..All the thanks in the world to Giorgios @odysseyactivities for an incredible historical tour of Ithaca. And for taking the pics! “What’s a place like me doing in a girl like this??” The Mummy is one of my fave movies ever and I couldn’t think of anything else to wear but Evey to my visit to the @grandegyptianmuseum in Giza. I wish I could go a day without sobbing at ancient artefacts on this trip but that is not possible.Also our hotel view hello!! Nothing could have prepared me for seeing sunsets over Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Take THAT Bambridge scholars! Day 1 of practicing the @finalfantasy Prelude on harp! I started practicing again after a long break. I think I avoided this piece for so long because I was just so intimidated by itIt’s obviously not perfect, but I’m actually very tired of only having polished perfect content on socials. ꧁༒☬I’ll sing you a song a song of the sea☬༒꧂📸: @_brku Assist: @dani_onstage A really cool thing happened when we did this shoot, quite a few people stopped to listen to the harp, even when it was just being played by the wind. One guy who seemed very stressed asked if I would play something as he was travelling alone and was missing his family. I think music is real magic, how it can affect us and makes us laugh, cry or feel calm. I know when I feel stressed and my thoughts feel tangled, playing harp is one way I am able to de-spaghettify my thoughts and have a clear mind.#fantasyphotography #fantasyphotoshoot #harpist #bard #minstrel by @umbralwitch
