About World Sickle Cell Day 2026......

In the words of our founder - "Should anyone living with Sickle Cell Disease have to choose between seeking treatment and other basic needs?"
This is a question we have had to sit with as an organization. And the answer: "The Rubies Medical Access Fund."

Many individuals living with Sickle Cell Disorder are not denied healthcare because treatment does not exist, they are denied healthcare because they cannot afford it . Too often, hospital visits are postponed, essential investigations are missed, and care is delayed because warriors cannot pay for it. This reality is what led us to create the Rubies Medical Access Fund.

This Fund represents our commitment to move beyond awareness and towards practical action. We do this because we envision a future where financial limitations no longer prevent warriors from accessing quality healthcare.

Join us as we turn the tide against Sickle Cell!!!
You too can help this vision flourish by supporting a warrior to gain health insurance towards accessing quality healthcare. For partnership and support, please reach out to us.

To mark World Sickle Cell Day, we proudly launched the Rubies Medical Access Fund an initiative created to help ease the financial burden of healthcare for sickle cell warriors and improve access to the medical support they need.

What began as a vision to make a difference became a reality through the support, generosity, and commitment of everyone who believed in the cause.

We are grateful that the launch was a success, and even more grateful for the lives that will be impacted through this fund.

Here’s to greater impact, more lives touched, and many more milestones ahead. ❤️🎗️

Long time no see....

I'll come back with a longer epistle of life's twist and turns that has just had me cooling in the background for way too long. They tell you it's okay to take a pause and all that, but nobody prepares you for how fast the world moves past. In all things, I judge God faithful ❤️

Yesterday was all shades of amazing. @girlbossacademy.ng and @lucie.ekong organized the mother of all vision boarding sessions.

The impact from that meeting will last generations. We are creating, visualizing and manifesting all of the goals we've set for the year. If truly you can see it, you can attain it.

Shout out to @lucie.ekong specially, you are pure unadulterated gold. Never dim your light for anyone.
