Dressing the table for my favourite dressmaker 🏹

@katerithelabel designer, Ruby’s latest collection was named for her late grandmother, Margaret. Inspired by familial history I created a table almost entirely of vintage wares (many from @mahousesupplystore), collected doilies and antique silverware.

In tribute to Margaret I also baked her handwritten shortbread recipe (in the shape of buttons, no less) the greatest honour I think I’ve had as a cook. Love you, and endlessly proud of you @katerithelabel

Our bread starts months before it hits the shelf. It’s a reflection of dedication, care and time, all building to one defining moment: harvest.

Sustainability is at our core, so we choose Australian grains grown using regenerative farming and milled by @wholegrain_milling, a big part of why our sourdough is special.

Growing grain this way takes care all season. From soil health, sowing, crop management, rainfall and weather, every decision matters. Harvest is when it all comes together.

We’re honouring this harvest season at our bakeries. Wheat straight from NSW farms doesn’t just decorate the space, it becomes it.
Slow down and consider the very grain that becomes your bread and pastries. Consider it as the baker considers the dough, and the farmer the paddock, long before it reaches the shelf. Here it fills the room just as it fills the paddock before harvest.
