🌎 How can young people move from learning about global challenges to actually helping solve them?

Join @una.usa on the margins of #ClimateWeek for a virtual conversation exploring how youth can turn ideas into action through Model UN, technology, innovation, and advocacy. 🌱

We’ll hear about the @unep work to address climate and environmental challenges, explore how to build real-world skills for global problem-solving, and showcase the winning DiplomaTech app as an example of youth-led technology and innovation in action. 💻

Last night, I had the honor to join the stage at the 2026 @concordiasummit for a conversation on youth at the diplomatic table.

One message I carried onto the panel was: young people are hopeful.

In my first weeks as the 15th UNA-USA Youth Observer to the United Nations, I have been reminded again that us young people already have extraordinary ideas about the future we want to live in. The question is how we, across generations, harness that hope into agency and that agency into meaningful change.

I also spoke about access to knowledge, misinformation, technology, and what meaningful youth participation actually looks like. In an age when we are more connected to information than ever, we also have to defend our right to knowledge and our right to question.

Thank you to Concordia and to my fellow panelists for making space for this conversation. 🤍
