Happy We Live For Each Other Wednesday!! Our Vice President of Marketing, Abbie McIntyre, is going to be sharing her experience in ADPi!“As someone who never wanted to go through recruitment, I can confidently say it has been the best decision I’ve made so far in my college experience. During recruitment I was beyond anxious, but everytime I walked into ADPi, I truly felt at home and surrounded by people that care and appreciate me. That feeling carried over even after running home to ADPi. ADPi has brought me genuine lifelong friendships, like my big Emily, and my future roommates, Leia and Delaney. I cannot imagine my first year of college without those friendships made in our sisterhood. Not only has ADPi brought me true connections but it has also guided me to grow and learn with a supportive system. Becoming Vice President of Marketing for ADPi is not something I could’ve predicted but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It has gave me so many opportunities and challenged me in ways that has helped me grow into a better and more purposeful person. Without this sisterhood I don’t know what type of person I’d be or who’d I’d be surrounded with. Happy We Live for Each Other Wednesday!! Today you’ll hear from our VP of Member Development and her experience in ADPi! “I went through recruitment as a sophomore at UNA. I remember feeling so anxious about “asking the right questions” and making a “perfect first impression” hoping that I would prove I belonged. ADPi never made me feel like I had to be anyone other than who I was. It was a sisterhood that proved to me I had found somewhere I could be my most authentic self. Running home to ADPi was the best choice I could’ve made in college. It was here I made memories and friendships that have shaped my collegiate experience, was given the chance to embrace leadership that I felt made genuine impact within our chapter, and most of all, felt surrounded by women who loved, laughed, and cheered for me when I needed it more than ever. The women of ADPi are intelligent, genuine, spirited, and compassionate. They have given me a place to thrive and I’m so grateful to represent our values and our diamonds with pride. GRAND CONVENTION 2026! Our Chapter President, VP of Finance, and Executive Chapter Advisor were honored to attend Alpha Delta Pi’s Grand Convention in Palm Desert, CA! They had the best week celebrating our 175th anniversary with sisters from all over the U.S. and Canada! It was a blessing to be a part of the last convention under the international presidency of Dawn Victor-Herring, our Zeta Eta sister! Celebrating “We live for each other Wednesday” with Big & Little duo- Rylie and Addy!!“I was so excited to come back to ADPi and eventually meet my future little. Addy and I met the first round of recruitment, and I fell in love with her there and then. She has been the brightest spot in my darkest days, and the little sister I always dreamed of. From late nights on the chapter floor to late night Sonic runs, she has been in my corner every step of the way. She’s the girl I’ll always call when I need a laugh, a shoulder to lean on, or a roadtrip buddy. I’ll always be thankful to ADPi for bringing me my little sister when I needed her the most, and for giving me the girl I’ll forever and always be proud to call my little.” - Rylie “During rush I had no idea that I would meet someone I would instantly click with. Rylie I am so grateful to have you as my wonderful, smart, and hilarious big. Rylie is truly a big sister to me in every way that counts. From late night talks until 2am to afternoon thrift runs, and Texas Roadhouse dinners. She is someone that I look up to with her confidence and her drive to always achieve her best. Going Greek in Greece!!One of our sisters- Emily Shepherd had the opportunity to study abroad in Greece with the college of business! “Studying abroad has been an unforgettable experience filled with amazing views,unforgettable history, and memories I’ll cherish forever. I am so thankful for having this opportunity to explore ancient ruins to learning about a new culture. Every moment from this trip has pushed me to learn, grow, and see the world from a new perspective. Celebrating we live for each other Wednesday with roommates Jordyn and Sydney!!“Being the first person in my family to go Greek was something completely new for me. When I left my hometown to come to UNA, I was excited but very nervous about starting over and finding my place. Joining Alpha Delta Pi gave me a sense of belonging when I was far from home. It introduced me to friendships that I will be forever grateful for, along with support and opportunities I would have never experienced otherwise. ADPi helped me step out of my comfort zone, grow as a person, and create a home away from home. Choosing to join ADPi was one of the best decisions I made because it gave me a community that has supported me through everything.”-Jordyn “Coming to UNA and leaving my whole other world to start a completely new one was so scary. I was so scared that I wouldn’t meet new people and make friends. But rushing ADPI brought some of my best friends and that I am beyond grateful for!
