Day 3 of the 2026 UNAC/UHCP Convention was about leadership, representation and the work ahead.

Delegates reelected President Charmaine S. Morales, RN and Secretary Elizabeth Hawkins.

Liza Ventura of SCNSC and Linda Morales of KSBRNA were reelected to the Board of Directors, while Nastaishia O’Howell, RN of PMRNA and Douglas Wong, PA of KRRN-UHCP were elected to serve on the board.

Our retirees continue to bring the fire and contribute after their careers of service. They held their own one-day convention today, with an action-packed agenda. They hosted speakers Kevin Brown of the MARC, Geshalem Perez and Thor Causing of Member Engagement, and Frank Torres from the Legislative and Political Department. Hortencia Arriaga offered tips on how to avoid scams directed at retirees. And the whole UNAC/UHCP executive officer team plus executive director Joe Guzynski shows up to support. Charmaine then swore in the newly elected Retiree Council officers. by @unacuhcp
