We’ve been leaning on a warm + tangy blend of Rosehip, 🫚 Ginger, Cardamom, and Elderflower 🌾 🫖 tea and a shot of 🍇 Elderberry Elixir by @bhavawellness to welcome in our favorite month.

Anyone else loving these chilly October 🍂 mornings? You’ll find Daniel and I in the kitchen sharing our love of the ritual of preparing matcha 🍵 as we look out over our garden’s extra showy Fall blooms of Goldenrod 🌾 and Vitex🪻

The true magic is in these handcrafted matcha bowl sets by @unika.studio , the bamboo chasen, chashaku scoop, hammered sifter, and ceremonial grade matcha by @drinkdona … because simple objects become sacred through use and intention am I right? ✨🤎

Making matcha always feels like a chance to greet the day with presence as we welcome the turning of the leaves 🍁

Are you team Matcha or team Coffee in the morning?

Personally I am a big fan of both, it just depends on how I’m feeling when I wake up. Coffee can feel very depleting where as matcha feels more restorative on a day when I’m already tired, so I tend to always go Matcha on those days. taken in Old City Philly by @unaoldcity

Cozy Season is here and Old City is a lovely place to spend a Sunday afternoon soaking it in. Autumn 🍂 is to be ritualized, so we brought in a few unique staples in honor of our favorite month.

As the days grow shorter and the air becomes cool + crisp, reaching for the things like some cozy cashmere + merino wool fingerless mittens, a soft sheep’s wool toque, a comforting scent by @latombee , or perhaps some Cardamom simple syrup to infuse a warm cup of tea with just seems right.

Our shop is full of simple rituals to help you settle in. 🍂

One of my favorite things is watching 👁️ what our community + customers are drawn to as they move through the shop.

A specific herb, a book that speaks to them, a 🕯️candle as they enter into the darker part of the year, a ritual oil, a handmade 🪔 vessel to house your sacred treasures, a 🫖 tea blend….something always seems to call out to them.

It’s as if each of us follows an invisible🪡 thread, finding the very thing we often times didn’t know we were looking for.

There is magic 🪄 in witnessing it. Seeing the remedies and personal selections find their way into the hands 🤲🏾 of those they belong with reminds me that we are often guided by something deeper than reason alone.

I love watching and listening to the stories unfold ♥️ and having a front row seat to what finds its way home with you. Thank you sharing a piece of yourself with me.

Last night as I was walking around closing up the shop, I remembered just how much I used to love the ritual. 🌀

The lights were dimmed, the shelves were a little less full, and the scent of incense still hung in the air. One by one I would snuff out the candles, straighten the pieces on the shelves, move through the simple ritual of tidying up by pulling the shades, 🧹 the floor, and reflecting on a day spent sharing this space with all of you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped in, shared a conversation, explored the sanctum, and helped infuse the space. The energy is alive. ✨

I’m already looking forward to doing it all again.

As an herbalist, I feel that we carry the plants and landscapes that have shaped us wherever we go.

When we were creating our new shop, I knew I wanted to bring some of our favorite desert offerings from home along for the journey. These are the herbs, botanicals, and traditions rooted in a land 🏜️ that has taught me so much about resilience and the beauty of working with nature just as she is. 🌀

My own line ~ Bhava Wellness ~ is infused with the desert’s bounty and my remedies are inspired by generations of herbal wisdom from home, and I felt inspired to bring other offerings that also carry a little of the wild spirit of the West + Southwest.

It feels extra special to have the opportunity to share these parts of home and weave them into this new chapter with all of you.

Still steeping in the magic ✨ of this past weekend and the Grand Opening of Una Sanctum.

To everyone who traveled near and far, stepped through the doors, shared old stories, infused the place with laughter, and toasted a glass of wine with us, thank you. 🤎

It meant the world to see old friends/family gathered 🌀 once again and to welcome so many new faces into the new space.

After pouring our hearts and countless hours into bringing this place to life… to see it filled with such warmth, connection, and community was so special, somethibg we both deeply missed and promise to never take for granted. ♥️

Thank you for celebrating this beginning with us, for supporting our dreams, and for helping make Una feel like home on its very first day.

We are grateful beyond words and look forward to many seasons of gathering together.
