When was the last time you had a space to talk about the films you watch? Looks like you haven’t been to your nearest film club. That is what we aim to do with our feature film - Ustad Bantoo. A 100 screenings across the country all through independent film clubs. Wherever you are, we’ll bring the films there. That’s the distribution plan, as simple as that. So what are you waiting for? Go to our waitlist in our bio and add yourself. Tell us where you are and how we can screen in your city? taken in Delhi, India by @unboxingcinema

2006, indeed an year of tectonic shift in indie spaces 💥 Khosla Ka Ghosla – Dir. Dibakar Banerjee → A middle-class Delhi man takes on a corrupt property dealer. Sharp, hilarious, and very real — considered a turning point for Indian indie storytelling. Mixed Doubles – Dir. Rajat Kapoor → A middle-class husband’s midlife crisis turns into a darkly comic take on marriage and desire. Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota – Dir. Naseeruddin Shah → Interwoven lives of Indians headed to the US on 9/11 — experimental narrative and deeply human. 15 Park Avenue – Dir. Aparna Sen → A poignant look at mental health and fractured realities, led by Konkona Sen Sharma and Shabana Azmi. Being Cyrus – Dir. Homi Adajania → A stylish English-language psychological drama starring Saif Ali Khan and Naseeruddin Shah. Dark, odd, and genre-bending. Dor – Dir. Nagesh Kukunoor → A beautiful road story of two women from different worlds connected by loss and forgiveness. by @unboxingcinema

Back in the day, I used to think about how someday I’d be someone facing the camera, encapsulating different personalities, with an audience watching. And today, it gives me immense satisfaction to see that thought slowly turning into reality. Rather, I should say, this is just the beginning of something whose destination I don’t even know yet. But at this point, I feel incredibly overwhelmed that a film I’ve worked on with my buddies is going to screen at the 15th Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF). I can’t wait to witness the audience’s reactions, and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for us as a team, with this first screening setting things in motion. This marks the beginning of our screenings in India with our Indian premiere, with 99 more to go! Thank you, everyone, for all the love and support so far. ❤️ Bantoo bade parde par! The Social Reckoning is the movie we need right now! Absolutely amazing. Don’t watch this movie - if you want to have the same thrill you had while watching The Social Network - watch it if you care for a genuinely important story that Aaron Sorkin wants to tell by @unboxingcinema
