Wow so many awards this week that was unexpected but the MEAC Pitcher of the Year she been wishing for this award.. God is good yall..Not only to receive this award but to be the 1st softball player to get this award since NCCU has been in D1. Not to mention their first MEAC championship in 2023 also. We doing big things. Don’t sleep on Knightdale, we got talent to. Thanks to all the family, friends, and coaches that put her in a position to be seen for her talent. Big things come in small packages… Big shout out to AAFP Coach Bruce Cozart @coachcozart for always pushing Jaden (Rollo) and always showing up for her on and off the field. You and Cliff always her Rock.

Sometimes good players get overlooked because they don’t go to the top highschool or cant afford to play on the biggest travel ball teams are the hidden gems.. thats the ones you need on your team.. them Dawgsss..the one that’s gone work for that scholarship and don’t have nothing to loose…

Jaden softball career has always been a testament to that.. Never the tallest, pitched the fastest, or the crème of the crop… but NCCU said we want her…Coach Tarvin @mamacatncharlieshow recognized her talents early on and saw the diamond that nobody else saw.. We always told Jaden go with the school that appreciates and wants you, you don’t have to beg nobody to be on their team.

Finally got the full video..GOD has truly blessed Jaden Davis.. It’s been a great 4 years hate to see it end. Her sisters Jhonae and Janiya got big shoes to fill. She has been the best role model and sister for them. Only up from here.

RIP Mom AKA Peggy G.. You would be 77 today. Man time is rolling by and these kids growing by the day. I know you are so proud of all their accomplishments…11 years it’s been since your departure, but always feels like yesterday. Not a day goes by that you are not thought or mentioned. Still to this day I pick up the phone about to call you and remember I can’t. Sometimes you just want to hear the live voice and need advice, but all I can do is talk to you out loud and pray you hear me.

I know you are watching over us. I hope I am doing a good job. So much of me is you it’s crazy to see as I get older. Things I nag kids about you did to me it’s so funny. Thanks for always being there to listen and to cheer me on at my sports games. It never went unnoticed.

Love you always…Your hard headed middle child Camille DeLane when you mad…Or Camille you hear me talking to you..

Jhonae did good in her second High School volleyball game. Got a few points of serving. She knows how to move her feet. Girls are improving and that’s good..

Jhonae will be the first to play 3 sports in Highschool whewww don’t know if I gone make it..Pray for us yall.

Had a good anniversary on Saturday despite being in Rocky Mount for the girls softball tournament.. they did good..happy 17th anniversary to Cliff @tightcutz325 .. 17 years legal but 24 years together. It a been a great journey and I hope to continue this ride for many more years to come. God has blessed this union and family to give us something we didn’t grow up with but we setting our own path.

Happy Fathers Day to big Bubba. The day is almost over. Thanks for all you do and most especially being present in the girls lives. They are all daddy’s girls 4 sho.. They spoke highly of you in church today and appreciate all you do. Love you Duuunnnkieee..
